Main issue with Seph is that they reduced alot of the stun durations on his moves, so people can actually dodge or block before you do what would've been a chain in D1. Godspeed, a major combo bridge had its range cut, so you can't use that to keep people trapped in combos. Sudden cruely no longer closes in before striking, so an attempt at dc comboing that just puts you out of effective range for any subsequent uses. Shit sucks =/ With d1 Seph, I could solo a 120k Hp Chaos no problem XD. In fact, I'd probably record it and put it on youtube =P
I figured. Been thinking about it lately, and my personal picks for a party are Bartz, Zidane, a tie between Firion and Tidus, Yuna, and Gilgamesh. A party that'll be needed to take down a 120k+ HP Chaos! As I said, I'll test Sephiroth's attacks for myself, though I'm a noob compared to you.
I was kidding about 5 Jechts, though I wouldn't mind that lol. Unfortunately they don't give you the nescessary moves to test alot of my chains for Seph, but the ones I've been able to try so far have been removed.
Jecht only has four costumes so picking five of him is not a possibility. As for Gabranth, according to the Wiki, Hatred has a wider range and a greater absorption rate. EX Charge fills the EX bar even faster, so I think that's a good reason to keep him or at least consider it. I don't know about Sephiroth (haven't used him in Prologus yet) so I'll get back to you on that one. According to one of my sources, there's also gonna be a storyline that'll involve a 5-person party to destroy Chaos once and for all. Not sure how credible that is, but it'd be great.
Can I pick Jecht 5 times? lol. Harder to say for duo, since they chaned up alot of shit. Jecht I still like, so he's definitely in. Kain , Lightning probably. Gabranth if they haven't ruined him, and Tidus if they haven't ruined him, but I haven't been able to play as either yet, so I don't know. Sephiroth maybe, once I determine if my favorite chain still exists, though I'm thinking it probably doesn't.
Random comment at a random time! xD Been using Jecht lately and after all this time (I've played the game for over 300 hours, 100+ of those belong to my newer file) I've finally been able to chain his bravery attacks into Triumphant Grasp at least 50% of the time. Believe or not, I've been practicing on Chaos. He just doesn't stand a chance against Jecht. So the final roster now includes Lightning, Tifa, Kain, Vaan, Laguna, Yuna, Prishe, Gilgamesh, and Feral Chaos. Plus Aerith (or Aeris, whatever) as an Assist character for those who buy Prologus. And I've heard about this Labyrinth mode, and I think that's supposed to replace the Duel Colosseum (I might have read that wrong). On to my question, since in Duodecim you'll be able to make party battles, which five characters would you pick? That is, if you don't pick solo battles over party battles. lol long post, sorry.
It's a good game all in all, just overhyped by some, and hated upon without jsut cause by others. Just like anything else that gets too popular >.<
Well, I'll give it this much. I've been so bored lately, so if FFVII somehow made it magically to my household, I'd play it.
I just try to ignore fanboys in the same way I ignore trolls. They ruin everything when you acknowledge their existence lol. XII I never really got into. Forced my way through the story, just to say i did it, but I barely even remember it. It lost me as soon as I got to the first fight though, so I'm definitely biased there lol.
I guess that's true. That's cool. I've played I, II, VIII, IX, and X. My current wishlist is V and XII. Been thinking about VII, and I think it's a good game. It's just the tons of fanobys and fangirls I've met kinda ruined it for me though. I've always got Dissidia, though, and Sephiroth just owns in that game.
One of the upsides of moral subjectivism/nihilism. You never have to try to defend that you're not an asshole or immoral, because you don't care =P. At some point in time I've played them all, though alot of em were so long ago I don't remember em much. The ones I've played recently and completed are I, II, III, IV, VII, VIII, IX, X, and XIII. Along with Tactis, X-2 and VII spinoffs.
Yeah, I've met people with that description. It's not the first time I've met someone like you (who admit what they are), but it's uncommon. Aside from VII, are there any other FFs you've played?
