I know! That sounds horrible, I'm doing IT at the moment and our teacher is pretty much the same!
that is intense...all I have done is done work for school, ITT sucks right now we are working on photoshop and the instructor wont just let us do it we have to wait for him...

Oh well... Why don't you get Paint.net? It's a good alternative to Photoshop.
I use a crappy online editing site for mine its decent for a quick sig or avatar...
I'm currently using Photoshop 7. I love using it.
