At least that's what he thought. XD And besides, the thing I really adore about FF8: The theory about Rinoa being Artemisia. That was QUITE interesting, but there are so many theories, I haven't read them all. Yet, I'm still sure that there is something about the end that needs to be thought of... like Squall meeting himself. That MUST have changed something. @_@

Somehow I avoided FF all the years... I grew up playing Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda. Then, many friends told me to play FF... and then I somehow got addicted... in a way, at least. ^^" What I hate most about FF8... Rinoa. She was just annoying. Always thinking that Squall should love her. And then she TRIED to be a rebel. But ended up being captured all the time and almost fell of B... Balamb Garden. (Almost forgot the name @_@) Gosh, she was sooo~ annoying... until Squall finally loved her back. Then Squall was WAY more annoying than she was XD

It might surprise you that 8 also was MY first FF. I bought it in 2007 but I just didn't get how it worked - and then I got stuck when trying to fight Cerberus. I thought I HAD TO fight him, I didn't know he was just optional. But then I lost interest in the game, unfortunately. So when I picked it up again two years later, I was still pissed. XD But at that time I knew how to play the game. And then I beat that damn Cerberus.
*cries* 8 is my favorite o.o But it is cause it was my first one lol I loved 6 as well though the machines threw me off lol
Hah, I think that was also my problem with FF7. I played 10, 12 and 4-6 before playing it. And 6 - for me - is the best one. So I found my favorite pretty soon. FF7 wasn't as good as 6 was, unfortunately. And 9 was also better than 7... The only one that wasn't any better was 8. But we talked about that already XD
That is the exact reason why I didn't like it *laughs* I played every other FF before 7 and I was throughly let down. I mean, fighting mechanic things in the wilderness threw me off haha. The story was horrible and blah blah blah haha
You hate FF7?!?! You're probably the first one to hate that game. I didn't like it that much either, but I wouldn't say that I hated it. It was okay. But I was expecting something totally different when playing it. Everyone told me FF7 would be such a great game, outstanding, the best game ever, the best FF, etc. @_@ So, why do you hate FF7?

Hey~ I only read your comment on my FFVIII review thread today. (Yes, pretty late. XD") You're quite right. I really didn't like the game, so it was hard for me to write a review. I think (I don't know what I really thought when writing it ^^") I wanted to say: "Goddamn game, I don't like it!" and not "So this is the game." Maybe I really had too much personal opinion in the review. ^^" I'm not good at writing reviews, anyways. But I didn't want to bash it - I wouldn't have played it if I only wanted to bash it. (I haven't got enough time to do THAT XD) Sorry if it sounded like that. And yes, I sucked at the game. I somehow couldn't get into it even to the end. And maybe, just maybe, I was pissed because I needed five tries and about 1,5 hours to beat Ultimecia. Just maybe.
