It wasn't an inappropriate topic, maybe a tad off-topic though it tied into the thread. I just didn't feel like responding to a topic about the "end of the world", wasn't an interesting thread. I didnt think that was a point that needed to be pointed out at that time. Im an athiest, very hardcore athiest. Whilst I do not like to preach athiesm as that would make me no better than that which I hate most, I do not like to sit back and let people give false information based on what they've been brought up to belive. because most of the time this is the case. I was once Catholic now I'm an atheist but I was trying to point out what you sent me to her. That God is The Word & The Word is God. The bible is the Word of God. Even though it was written by man, God came down to divinely tell them what to write. That is the believers view. As an atheist, yeah I agree with what she told me that humans wrote it, whom could have had their own agenda. That they wrote what they did to place control on the masses in order to stave off anarchy, but I didn't find that the point of the thread or discussion between you two.
An athiest cannot define the holy bible as a guide since an athiest does not believe in god. If you attempt to understand it as an athiest, you must accept the fact that christians believe it to be the word of god, therefor you do right by the word of god, or you rot in hell. Unkown is unbelievabley arrogant and stubborn. I would very much like her to be stripped of her moderation as all she does is backtalk everyone with her selfish observations and opinions.
