I see they made you a mod of a section that suits your interests. I've been away as you may have or have not noticed my absence. What have you beeen up to these past few months?
Haha shit, this game has some serious mileage. I might get back into it; I moved and have a longer commute.
After 190 hours I finally beat Tactics Ogre on the Lawful route.
Quickly looking over some topics at gamefaqs, it appears that was used in the SNES/PS1 versions of the game. They changed the item/auction system completely for the PSP. I haven't been auctioning any monsters really. Except a few dragons. Or gryphons for ingredients. I should get into that b/c they also make available food that increases stats by like 0.2 .
What do you make of this: Tactics Ogre Random Tips ? I tried both the Arc Dragon at Rhime and the Octopus at Grimsby, both at/above the appropriate levels, but nothing. Do you think this feature wasn't carried over in the port/update?
I didn't know there was a title for that. Up in till that point, no character had reached 0, but I prefer saving time then getting all those skills, skill slots, & ranks. So it works for me. Once you get the title beating the game for the first time, as I'm guessing that is when the player would receive such title, you could use it during the other playthroughs.
Hmm, but I don't want a character ever to reach zero in battle. It's one of those title things. The only one I'm not on track to getting is 'no chariot', simply because I want to use chariot.
Lol. I may get rid of Sara b/c of Arycelle who is as well semi-unique but her portrait is not the standard female archer. As to scavenge skills. First have the character who you want the to scavenge their skills to die in battle. Let the countdown reach 0 in battle. They'll lose 1 of their hearts that is next to their HP bar in the unit menu. Most characters have 3 hearts. So when they die in battle three times they are permanently dead, I believe, but a new option appears when you select them called "scavenge skills". It costs 1 silver oberyth so don't sell those. -Wish I knew earlier. I've managed to farm 1 so far. - Select which unit to receive the skills and press confirm. Make sure to unequip anything before doing so though, just as a safe measure. The game does ask if you are ready to let that unit's soul go, I see this is as a safe measure they use if the player forgets to unequip the unit before scavenging their skills. Anyways, the only thing that doesn't transfer are skill slots and left over SP. Skills that use rank transfer the rank over. Which is good.
Also, do you keep every unique character? I'm sure there are more than 15, and I couldn't get rid of even one of them. I can't even get rid of Sara (semi-unique).
!!! How?!
I think I want to get down to 15 units that I'll be able to choose for battle. I did scavenge two units skills and sent them over to the unique character. Saved me a butt load in training their weapon skills and gaining all the skills they had. Only thing that doesn't transfer are the skill slots. Pretty nifty trick to cut down on training new units. Now I need more silver oberyth, the cost to scavenge a dead units skills.
I think I have a similar number; at least on of every class (excl dragons, but I use a hydra). I train them equally. I can't recruit umbras yet though.
I was thinking about trimming my party down as I have 43 units. Quite a few dragons in there. Now I'll get rid of them for Deneb. I haven't been training them so I didn't waste that much time. Now I'm going to try this skill transfer thing I remembered just now.
i remember reading about those pumpkins. Just check the gamefaqs guide on recruiting characters. It had what enemy drops them and what not.
Yeah, I've bumped into her about three times. I've bought everything from her, so now it's just a matter of getting dragons, and working out how to get 30 glass pumpkins.
