See, now that game doesn't have a lot of stuff, but Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria for the PS2 has tons of stuff.

Well, I haven't played the original, so I don't how much different it is from the remake, but I assume he's fighting Cyril/Lucifer. If that's the case, then I beat him by pummeling him with constant attacks so he can't move. Claude with the Sword of Marvels will land every attack without them being blocked. Just keep using Sword Dance over and over again with Claude while the other characters help out. You could also equip a Ring of Might (I believe it's the Atlas Ring in the original) and Berserker Ring to make your attacks deal thousands of damage. That's how you beat him by force. Now, there's the extremely cheap way to guarantee a victory with any and all enemies as well. All you need to do is to equip Bloody Armors on your characters. I believe Claude, Ashton, and Opera can all equip it, but not Rena unfortunately. Do that and keep Rena constantly casting Faerie Light in battle. It grants invincibility, so you can't ever die unless you get depleted of all HP by the armor. As long as Rena is casting Faerie Light, you can just attack the enemy without fear, because every attack he hits you with will score a big, fat 0. You might also want to bring some revival items, in case Rena dies. But yeah, that's the sure way to win, and the top is how I beat him with force.
Hm I think its the PS1, but he's now replaying it on PSP and hoping he can kill it this time though he hasn't gotten there, I believe he said he had tried all of them. Ashton, Claude, Reina, Operah. and someothers I can't remember lol just tell me what you did so I can tell him <3 Much thanks

Ah btw I had a Star Ocean 2 question for you, hope you can answer it... Towards the end of the game my friend is having trouble fighting and killing the 2nd to last wiseman that does an AoE in the first 5 seconds and kills his whole party, he can't even do dmg to him its all shown up as 0. Suggestions?
