wowwwwwwwwww. I personally wouldn't reccomend 9x, from the version I used it on, it had like MEGA scanlines with the SD3 graphics specifically, plus the sound was massively distorted/annoying. Unless they fixed it (which they could have) or unless I'm really gay (which I could be) it probably would be an annoyance to play. Just my 2 cents though.
I just had a depressing realization. After all of this work, it isn't going to happen, even with the older versions. ZSNES board :: View topic - NETPLAY ONLY ALLOWS 2 COMPUTERS!! Maybe we should look into Snes9x or something else.
Definitely cringe-worthy. Best of luck to you though, although I'm sure if it doesn't work an older ZSNES version is out there and available, at least I hope. If all else fails myself/oskar could put our ZSNES on megaupload or something.
Romhacking.net I'm gonna see about compiling an older version of ZSNES. Hopefully, it works. I'd hate to go through all of that just to have it fail. I guess I could chalk it up to a learning experience, though. Also, I would be willing to swallow my pride and try it on a Windows machine, if it doesn't work in the end.
Where's the download for that? And are you planning to dl an older ZSNES version or how are you going to go about that?
I found a 3 player patch. It seems to work. Now to tackle the other half of the problem - netplay. This one could take a bit.
