Atelier Totori is amazing though and there are a bunch of different endings for each character and Totori as a few of her own. Plus I cried at least a few times playing it. It is such a beautiful looking game and a lot of fun to play. But it is a slice of life RPG, not a epic journey. Totori has a goal and a journey, but there is a lot of other stuff that happens. Anyway, Hyperdimension Neptunia was tons of fun to play. It makes a lot of video game jokes through out, so if you enjoy a story that is light and just having a lot of fun doing it, then it is a good game. The combat system is built up from Trinity Universe and Cross Edge, but has the unique twist that you construct your own combos. You unlock skills and then plug them into specific buttons for a specific combo. And it literally lists all of the possible combinations possible with the four face buttons. So combat is like those past games, but colored a little different. The enjoyable thing about the game was that aside from a couple of things I needed help with I 100% the game without a walkthrough on my own effort. Which is pretty unusual these days for me, but it is constructed in a way that was addictive and easy to actually 100% without it actually feeling like a heavy chore. I don't know how much 15 pounds equals in US dollars, but I would say that is a perfectly reasonable price. Plus playing the game will get you ready for Mk2 that is coming out in February here, I don't know when it is getting an EU release.
A colleague gave me Hyperdimension Neptunia in exchange for me buying him Portal 2 at work. It's quite a rare game that I've been waiting for to come into work for a while, and to get a sealed copy for that cheap was something else. Have I been cheated, or is it a good game worth the £15 I paid for it (the person who gave it to me claimed he didn't have time for RPGs on 40+ weeks)? Is it a fairly easy-going game? I noticed you have the platinum for it, so thought you'd be the best person to ask for an opinion on the game. I've been hooked on Eternal Sonata when not working on L.A. Nore. Slowly getting into these types of Japanese, cell-shaded animation RPGs, so if there's anything you'd recommend, that'd be great (must say, I wasn't too keen on Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland for some reason... lengthy monologue scenes threw me off).
Yeah DH was probably soloing things for her armor. And do try to get Shadow, he could use the time. Good luck on finding a room.
I'm happy doing whichever. I need items from MS2, and I like BR2 for speed. Cards 2 is good to mix things up a little, and get some items for later. I'm going to grab food because I've not eaten since this time yesterday, and then I'm going to find a group. Then coax Vicky to join in later, and maybe DH if she's free. I saw DH on yesterday, but I think she was working on something else because I couldn't locate her.
It is MS3 that you want to do. If you're grinding GR most people are just going to want to do BR2. Which is going to be faster than Cards2 or MS3. There are going to be people wanting to do Cards2 and MS3, but you'll be helping them getting generally. Though it is usually faster enough to be a S Rank.
I tried Saberlily. Every room was packed, and the four that could have helped me were full. The others either had GR/Level locks on them, or had a different aim. I'll try again tonight. Grinding MS2, Cards 2 and BR2, right? Yeah... I'm giving binding a break now. That ten million gilda will come in handy, so I might finish up the binding last. For the moment my goal is GR power grinding, and farming as I grind. When I have the money trophy, I'll be about set for a few items.
Yeah, there are plenty of rooms in Saberlily for grinding GR. Unfortunately, that is often all there is. About it'll happen eventually. Congrats on the items, 250 still to go.
Just trying to find someone to grind with, getting Shadow to join, and maintain an internet connection is becoming tricky... maybe I left it too late, but bleh. I need a solid, reliable group during the week if I'm going to make it to GR11 in time to grind with you. =( I made two-hundred items though. ._.
Well you've already got some pretty good progress on your armor right? So you're not that bad off. Ended up doing a lot of Cards2 and MS3 to grind to GR11. The partner that I had made it work as a duo and sometimes more whenever someone joined. So that might be an option as a breather. Plus Shadow would be able to get his Faerie Masks at the same time. But whatever you decide you want to do, just make sure that you carry it out.
Yeah, I know. You're right. I didn't think of it that way before. >< Hmm. I guess grinding GR is my next step. Honestly, equipment can wait until I need it/need the trophies. I'll try and get to GR11 so I can grind with you this week. I'm bound to find a group willing to BR2 with me, and I'll see if I can drag Vicky along so she can catch up too. I'm working this afternoon until 7pm (again), so I won't be home until 8pm, and after dinner and stuff I might be a little late. But I'll aim for 9pm.
Yeah, it was pretty easy to get GR12 after I got 11. Though the only problem is that as more European move over less of the community is playing WKC1 and after it comes out here almost no one will be playing the original. So getting the platinum now may be the only time to realistically get it.
So I heard. I went to bed shortly after hearing you'd hit GR11, and later the next day, Vicky told me you were GR12. I've got time. I'm not going to kill myself over it. I know I need to pull my finger out if I plan on having the platinum before you guys get it, but... well. I won't loose sleep. I know I'll get it.
Not going to be able to be able get the trophies before August if you don't speed up. ^^ BR3 is definitely a big game changer on grinding out GR. I've only got 4 trophies left to work on.
I might pop it on for a bit and see what it's like. I don't know if I'd screw anything up WKC related though, so I'm waiting... I thought that I might as well pick it up. We didn't have many at work, and people were buying them, so I secured my copy with my discount along with inFamous 2. Felt like I only paid for one game. And yes. I'm going to be working on the WKC trophies. I've been so exhausted lately, and so not in the mood for it. My trophies seem to be a little on the bugged side in my favour though, so maybe it'll be kind on me? xD;
So you made the plunge huh? Not going to check it out a little huh? Going to work on the trophies for WKC1?
