Haha, I'm doubtful anyother Final Fantasy I play will be as good as FFVII or FFXII. Just gotta wait for FFXIII before I can really say anything. XD I must say, FFIX does look more childish than the others from the screen shots I've seen so far. =D
Well i've played IX and it's not my favorite final fantasy (in fact it's my least favorite of the modern ones 7-12) but it's worth playing. It's more childish than the others are but it's very unique, sometimes in a good way. I'm sure you'd like it if you got it.
Haha, ok. ^^ OMG! Thats fantastic! I was looking at prices for FFIX yesterday evening, and they wanted £25 (which is more or less $50). Thats very good. I have FFI, but tell me what FFII and FFIX are like when you get them! =D
I'm so excited right now! I might be getting FFI (PSP), FFII (PSP), and FFIX (PS) all on monday. I can't wait. I'm getting good prices on them too. FFI is 20 dollars on EBay, FFII is 16 dollars, and FF9 is 24 dollars. They are all brand new too.
I think it's only items that raise your stats. I'm going to level up anyway because i'm not the type that has to "max out" his characters.
Really? How strange... I wonder which items they are. =[ I really want to play now. That could be something I do today. XD
I heard that you can't get some items later in the game if you are of too high of a level. I'm going to level up in the Tomb of the Unknown King or something later on to be safer.
Why shouldn't you level up early? I'd have thought it was a good thing to save up Gil and get experice and stuff for later bosses... Also, it might take longer to level at a lower stage when you start hitting higher levels to which you need loads more Exp for, but... it preps you up! XD
I'm confused on what to do. Sites say that you shouldn't level up early in FF8 but my problem was that I didn't have enough HP against Raijin and Fujin. I guess it means you should just not level until disc 2 or something.

I easily beat Raijin but by the end of the battle I had low health and they don't give you a chance to heal before the second battle so they killed me really fast because they got to strike first.
It was a typo. XD I got stuck on that battle too, last time I played. When I (finally... >>;; ) beat them, I was a little peeved that you have to fight them again inside the Hotel. XD
Well it's VIII, but I got to the second disc and then I got to the part where they trap you in Balamb town and I couldn't beat Raijin and Fujin so I had to start from the beginning again and make sure that before then I got leveled up enough and learnt more things with my GFs.
