  1. i had to switch the control options to 2d this time around on 3. i kept getting the camera turned around backwards and couldnt see (didnt help that i had been drinking haha). that is my biggest complaint with 3 so far . i wish there was a camera controal IE the left analog stick. hopefully they will incorperate into the new one
  2. I think Silent Hill 3's gameplay is probably the easiest, but possibly the funnest. Although I think that if Silent Hill 1 was revamped and modernized with newer graphics, it'd be the most terrifying (it's bewtween that and 4 imo). The music is certainly the most disturbing, following by Silent Hill 3. Silent Hill 2, 4's and 0rigins soundtracks were more haunting than frightening. And yeah, in Silent Hill 2, the Mary/Maria boss at the end dies all by herself if you just run around randomly without hitting her. Wow, tough. And aye, Silent Hill 4: The Room was tough with Eileen... especially if you wanted to get the good ending, which requires her to be pretty much scratchless.
  3. yeah i try to use the pipe for everything except bosses. just seems easier that way. i found that part 2 was kind of short and the end boss was a wuss.
part 4 i had a hell of a time when the i had to replay the wooded area when the guy is chasing me with the gun and you have to protect the girl, i died so manytimes on that part and the next level. but it was fun for the most part. but so far 1 is the best of them all, i will give a second opinion when i beaet 3 again, i remember it being great
  4. Aye, I usually run past some of the monsters. Especially on the streets of Silent Hill, though. There are often too many to deal with. I usually kill everything with the pipe, as well, and save the handgun for the nurses because they're harder to kill. Silent hill 2's landscape is a little repetitive to me. I like it, but sometimes it drags on and on. I think it's because the producers wanted it to feel like the player didn't want to turn back... Or to put realization into how long-winded James' suffering felt. It could be interpreted in a number of ways, though.
  5. ive never gotten in that much of a rush to beat the any of the SH series but then again i am only on my second play through on 3. 2 i will usually rush through cuz i have beaten it quite a few times but 1 i tend to mix it up depending on which endin i want to get.

i just hit the lower levels of the area after the subway train ride and i am already 2.5 hours into game play haha but i have taken the time to kill almost every monster i have came across
  6. I use the run button quite a lot, but you need to remember that I've beaten the games so many times now that there's pretty much nothing I've ever missed out on. I tend only to forget the most part of games if I haven't played them in five or six years. I wish it'd take less time than that. Silent Hill 1 was very different to how I remembered it as an eleven year old, though. I used to be terrified of it, hahaha.
  7. i usually dont forget games (always been a curse) but for some reason i cant remember for the life of me any part of it(maybe because i beate it in my 2 year drunkin lawl haha). but anyways yeah i am the same way i take my time not wanting to miss anything but i usualy do anyways. heck i dont even think i have used the run button yet with the exception of getting past a few baddies
  8. I agree. In a way, I really wish I could forget the gameplay of Silent Hill just so I could rediscover it all over again. I'm thinking of starting the whole series again and clocking through all of them. I don't rush, so it'll probably take about a week considering I wouldn't be playing non-stop. It's an early Summer this year, too, and I don't plan on spending much of it outside, haha. >_>.
  9. i must say that over the weekend i pluged in SH3 into the PS3 and OMG it is amazing what the system could do, you need to get one soon! it is fricken sweet looking!
the sad thing is i know i have beaten this game but i cant remember a dang thing about it haha! but i guess thats a good thing too. makes for a whole new expirance
  10. Haha, good to hear it! I'm pretty sure when I have a child, it's first words will be either "hamster" or "oh shit!"

True. I hope the team working on this title won't screw the entire project up. Fans were already scared about Silent Hill: 0rigins being crap after the first shots taken of it were very Resident Evil-esque. Apparently, somebody in Team Silent piped up and complained about it and the team working on 0rigins had a complete revamp of the monsters and weapons systems. Thank God for that! I'd like to get 0rigins soon, but I have a feeling I won't be getting it for a long time!
  11. doing good, breyens up and running around starting to talk alot more, which means i will have to actually watch my mouth around him hahahaha..

yeah the new title does sound kind of freaky but its still sounds like it kicks @ss hahaha
  12. No problem... If you have anymore questions, lemme know. I seem to be a haven of Silent Hill information these days, haha. Also, they're renamed Silent Hill 5 to Silent Hill: Homecoming. I don't know about you, but to me, it sounds like somekind of prom nightmare. How's the family?
  13. SUPERPIMP!!!!!!! ::insert some more randomness::

thanks for the SH update, your awsome!
