I think therefore I am. But what if my thinking isn't really thinking and merely some sort of perception of thinking? Like I'm not thinking and something else puts me under the illusion that I'm thinking. Or something. Would I know? Or anyone else for that matter? It'd be weird to think like this if I wasn't capable of thinking. But it could be a ploy to put my mind at ease that I am capable of thinking and therefore existing. That's a bit of a mind****, aye? Oh it has a solution which would indicate both that I think and am, even if not conclusively. But, I'll be mean and withhold it. Think about it.
Yeah, true. Or sometimes a full editorial department screws up and I see the mother of all mistakes in a magazine... But yeah, so far nothing.
I know it's a joke, somehow. But, I do that because I really want to polish my work. It may be a Pulitzer prize sure winner, but if people aren't interested in reading it, it's not of much help. Sometimes, mistakes are so subtle the naked eye can't see them, but the subconscious notices it.
Twas a joke. It's just the story doesn't really change so much. It's good and stays good. If I wanted to be an asshole I could nitpick it all day with spelling and grammar checkers and all manner of things, but that doesn't really interest me. Know what I'm saying? You haven't left much room for improvement, yet still desire critique.
I would also luv some consistency. A critique is a good critique when it's consistent, or when it explains it's divergences. If you don't like it, you wouldn't post, aye? Hence, I assume this as "I love the story"...or "I'm a masochist", whichever suits your mood. Point is, you want more story, and I deliver more story. But...later, mmkay?
Critique = more story? Hmmmm.... *lightbulb* YOUR STORY SUCKS!! IT'S TOO SHORT!! THE CHARACTERS ARE LESS THAN INTERESTING!! Well not really. But whatever motivates you.
Time for another V-Note!! What to add today? Ah!! Give more promotion to my story!!! Remember, promotions equal more stories!! And critique of any kind accelerates that!!
