Try the other quests in the Volcano or Snow. Or better yet, do it again, but this time break off both horns...
Yes I just happened to be right next to it when I blew its fricken face off. He had one horn that was severed and one that was normal.....I still did not get a horn......
Yes, though it really makes no difference. You only get one anyway. Are you SURE the horns are severed when you do that? Did you check?
Well we normally blow its face up with the 3 supply bombs and 3 large bombs + and thats not even counting small. But first I put it to sleep with sleep shot. Can you break both of its horns?
If you did not hit the head of the beast (the "beast" being Rajang), then you didn't break the horns. I would recommend a bow, personally; that would be for swift, ranged attacks with no reloading. Actually I am not specifically a gunner; I use different weapons depending on the monster at hand. I use lances and gunlances for Diabli and Monobli, Longswords for Chameleos and most of the monkey-types, SnS for Rajang, most of the time, PM Armor, bow and bombs for Teostra, and Hammers and Hunting Horns for everything else...
Ok so my friend jackie wants to know how to get the rajang blademaster armor...I think its beacuse we killed a download quest monster. So you are a gunner? Im the only gunner on my team...I am using Profusion. It is really powerfull for a light bowgun.
Lol well I'm not GODLY, but I won't lie I am pretty good. To get the Rajang Armor, full set, you need at least 1 horn. I didn't get Rajang armor, but I did get Puppet Master (Rajang Gunner), and I love that set! Gunning+Adrenaline +2=WIN. Other than that I mostly stick with White Fatalis Armor...
JEEZ you just blew my mind....I dont have Xlink Kai but I am thinking about it.....My friend Drew is on the Minegarde forums and Im going to tell him, hes the biggest MH nerd on the planet, he just killed the Ankator a few times and really wishes Jackie and I would get stronger to help him fight Fatalis....But If you fought with him you would amaze him....lol. Oh since you're here, How do you get Rajang armor? We have killed it and unlocked the rajang barage(AWSOME GUN BTW) but we cant get armor.
MHF2... now THERE'S a game I haven't played in a while. I already made it to "Legend" Guild Name by getting more than 1,000,000 Guild Points, killed each Fatalis at least 6 times, killed Akantor solo 18 times, gotten most of the trophies (including the Silver Hammer one you get when getting 7 rare versions of every weapon). I could help you defeat White Fatalis once I get Xlink Kai working again, though...
LOL I really haven't been playing MHF2 much....I got pretty far though! I maneged to kill the Lao-Shen-Lung with two of my friends. I got gold rathien armor and we are going to try and kill the black Fatalis! DUN DUN DUN!!!!
