  1. Nice to see you back.

You don't know who I am instantly, haha.
  2. There is an official website called 'Direct.gov' which covers all matter of things in the UK. There is a job section on the website, but for some reason a lot of employers don't advertise on these.

But the whole job market in Scotland right now is really bad. A while ago I applied for 'GAME' (which I think is similar to EBGames?), and whilst there I was told that the manager may not get back to me since over 300 people had applied for the one position. In a freakin' game store.

I also have Social Anxiety Disorder, which makes it even harder.

Back to the Internet job hunt!
  3. Jeez. Well, it is experience in web design, isn't it? But yeah; I had a job this Summer that was only giving me a few hours a week, and recently got a second job. Hang in there and keep applying places, man. Can you look on Craig's List and like a "Scotland Employment Department" type website? That's how I found my jobs.
  4. It's going awfully.

I'm having no luck finding a job. It's hard enough to even find suitable vacancies now.

Although I am going back to Uni in two weeks, which I should feel happy about.

    Though it would be nice to have some income. I'm getting so desperate that my 'work' for TFF is now listed as 'voluntary work'. -_-;
  5. Only the awesome ones, like me.

    How's it going, man?
  6. I don't know...

    Are all Americans arse-holes?
  7. Hey, hey, hey... is Scotland in England?
  8. I'm not exactly sure what section you're at . If you've only just entered the underground then you may want to look at the computer. And the book beside it
  9. Heh. Sorry I was so anal about the spelling and grammar. I didn't know if I should bother with it or not, but figured I might as well point them out. I fancy myself a bit of a writer, and have taken a lot of writing classes (though I've forgotten a bit, too, probably) so those things stick out to me.

We'll see if I get past where I've already been. I looked around everywhere in that area, and dunno where to go next. You'll have to give me a hint! Was there an item I was supposed to get before I went there? Also; so far, my time is at 1:15. I think that was what it was at when last I saved, anyway.

And I don't really think you're a fanatic. I just wanted to tease you, because you've clearly done so much better than I did; I finished highschool with a GPA of 3.07, and college-when I was actually trying... most of the time-with a 3.57. Great job, though! Congratulations on meeting your requirements. Anyhoo...

  10. I do really want to post once more. Though it has to be somewhere special.

Thanks for all of the spelling/grammar errors you've pointed out in the game. A lot of the NPC text is written as a spur-of-the-moment thing, so I don't really pay attention to my English-language skills . I'm really bad with: 'there, their and they're' owing to the fact that the Scottish accent means all three of the words sound identical!

I'd like to say I'm not a '4.0 fanatic', but the Scottish school system is very different to the American system (we have no GPA number). The exams I did are the ones that decide whether or not you're 'clever' enough for University. I did do quite well but the class I'm grade-scoffing is one that I was expected to get an 'A' in since I started it.

Oh well. It wouldn't even have mattered if I'd gotten a C for that class. Heck, I could've failed it. I met my requirments and I'm going off to Glasgow Caledonian to study Games Design, hurrah!
  11. Sorry I haven't played your game yet! I got your message about it when it came out, thought to myself, "I'll get it later," and then forgot all about it. I'll download it NOW. Also, congratulations on your test scores from a couple weeks ago. Scoffing at a B, eh? Are you one of those 4.0 fanatics? Sully unicorn

Post one more time! You know you want to! Anyhoo...

    Wuv, Yer Mom
  12. I'm not sure what you're going for with either of those comments, actually, ha. Consider me mostly amused.
  13. That was what I would call a 'Chez moment'.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. Please feel free to be insulted, complimented or both.
  14. That would have confused me...

    ...you should have done it
  15. Further proof that I'm not dead!

(The original content of this message was going to be: Further proof that Michael Jackson is not dead but I decided it was too soon to be making jokes like that.)
