You're not running NG+ yet are you? Or are you still working your way through the storyline? It's gonna take me awhile to get to where I need to go because I'm also tied up with dragon quest v (stupid addicting game). Hopefully it won't slow me down much. I'm not in a rush or anything just thought I'd ask.
Yes. You could grind some GR if you wanted to but it'll be a lot easier if you finish the game first, that way you'll have all the areas open. Make sure you buy quests from the adventurer's guild at some point as well; you only have to buy them once, they will automatically open as soon as the area is reached when you're running NG+.
With that said, do you suggest I play the main game more and get more areas open?
Awesome. Now, when you do start doing quests, you can only use your avatar, for this game at least. There won't be many open to you at first, either; you'll have to raise your guild rank by completing those you can do. When your rank is high enough to do Best Served Cold (in Lagnish), let me know. You'll have to grind a few ranks to get access to better quests, but once you open that one it'll go pretty fast. I can help you out with it as well, until you can solo it. Don't worry too much about rushing to raise your rank, since it won't matter if you're not a high enough level to survive the fights anyways. Besides which, you can't do quests in areas you haven't been to yet. At least the sound was a fixable issue and not say, a defective disc.
I got to the point where I can play online! My characters are lvl 11-12 range and I gave them plenty of skills. Looking forward to questing with you and that was weird what happened with the tv at the time I was chatting with you about the no sound issue haha.
All right. There's no rush, still a loooong way to go before I'm done with the game. I'll be around whenever you make it online. The story itself is fairly short for an RPG, so enjoy it while you can.
hey, just wanted to let you know i decided to buy the game anyway, its being shipped from amazon. gonna start it up when i get the chance and get some leveling done.
Yeah, very true... Very true. There are RPGs out there that are the opposite lol
It's definitely got some fun gameplay, which is good cause otherwise the grinding would be boring. XD
Ok sounds like a plan, gameplay looks good so I'm going to give it a chance.
I think it's a fun game. ^^ The story has some problems but if you like playing co-op at all that does redeem it somewhat. Be prepared to invest a lot of time though--this game is all about grinding. If you rent it and decide you like it enough to keep going, let me know, we can do some online questing once you get far enough.
would you recommend white knight chronicles at all? i looked into it some and it seemed interesting, just wanted to know what your opinion is on the matter. Either way, i'm going to at least give it a rent and try it out.
hey did you get my pm about my request? haha sorry if it sounded like a real date >.> lol, just wondering. its for the RP that recently started in case you didn't know.
It's pretty much a mishmash of traditions. And materialism. The one and only good thing about working it is that I get paid double time, plus the holiday pay for being a full time employee. And I get an extra day off next week. And my boss said he'd give me a little extra bonus. >_> That almost makes it worth it. Almost.
I understand what you mean, the whole thing is pagan really... the whole Jesus is born thing didn't happen on a winter which is pretty misleading even for non religious people. Its just commonly celebrated on this season obviously.
