I'm just a user for the sake of being able to watch videos and leave comments. I haven't uploaded a single video, EVER, but I would've liked to. Notice how I said "would've" because these new beta channels are nothing but bad news. Oh yeah, did you know that any new account created will automatically have the beta design? And how rude of me. I forgot the best part! If you've gone beta before the 15th, and you find it atrocious, and you wanna change back... sorry. It says "try" when it actually means "Change forever."
All of them are negative... If I had an account, I'd leave another negative one! But, unfortunately, I don't upload videos.
Well, as you've probably gathered, the users of YouTube really do NOT want this change. So, find any positive comments?

It does suck, it hardly feels like a free site anymore if they're just gonna enforce it. Why have the option then?

Well, they have the option to turn people's channels to a beta format. It sounds like it might be an improvement, but its held back by several issues. For example, videos are clogged in one box instead of being spread out, loading times are much slower and the thing as a whole is hard to navigate. Well, that's all nice as long as its optional, but guess what? By July 15, ALL channels on YouTube, whether you like it or not, you will be forced to switch to beta!
