Lately I've been so busy so I might not post as much or read as much. But I did read some today so that's good. ^_^ I wonder what happened to Yori....
Yeah, since you're going to be done with Yuki soon, there is a lot of fun things ahead. There is going to be a really strong focus on Yumi for a bit. But there is going to be a lot of getting everyone feeling like they can trust each other and become friends or family. Building them up into a family is one of the themes for the arc.

Yuki's parentage is something of a complicated story. One story that will take several arcs to fully come to light. But because of it is a secret matter, as you can tell no one in the general military knows about Yuki. There will be others that know about Yuki, they won't start revealing themselves until later though.
After seeing Yuki's fight, I started wondering. Does anyone besides Demosthenes KNOW how the son of the king looks like? It's just a rhetorical question, but it just hit me. Assassins have been sent out to kill him so now I'm wondering if there's someone else that'll be in the picture soon....

No, I didn't play FFIX when I was writing it. I love FFIX, but haven't played it in several years. You referring the falsely being accused of something or always looking for a good fight?
Seiji's back story reminds me of Amarant from FFIX. I assume you went through an FFIX phase while you wrote this? ^^
Yeah, I needed to address the relationship with Seiji and his grandfather. Though there still a lot of things part of their family that hasn't been explored. But yeah, things get a lot brighter when Yuki show up. There was a lot of talk about their middle school life, it was a good chance to show it. They always have fun together.
