You deploy your units onto a map, like any tactical strategy game, but once you choose a character to move, instead of selecting a grid space you want them to stand on, it changes to a third-person view of the character, and you get to run around on the field and manually choose where you want to go, whom you want to engage combat with, etc... What really annoyed me though is that supposedly the lady started telling all of the parents about this as well.
