That's a massive retcon. Well, all I got it he wants darkness gone, and is using Fate for something to that end. We are in the way, so he'll kill us. I don't think he has any particular interest in us. Not Fate, either, for that matter.

I have no idea, except maybe he and Elyon are sort of enemies, maybe he's bitter when it comes to Elyon because Krystal chose Elyon over him?
