It is good practice. You'll probably also want to make sure you work on making sure that you give everyone attention. There'll come a time you may have to use some characters you have been used to using before.
I'm taking on most enemies with my character as he naturally doesn't come without a Knight. I fared pretty well against basic enemies yesterday but the giant beasts nearly killed me.
It is something that you have to get used to doing. It'll probably hurt you a lot early on because you don't know how to do it all right, but once you do get the hang of it. You'll breeze through things pretty easily. I beat all of the optional bosses in the game without a Knight, when all guides suggest that you do use a Knight.
Today I'll try to take on everything without a Knight, unless the story demands it. Just did some research on how to get my own, too and it turns out it could have been done as early as the first game. Anyway, I wanted to share this video with you. The song is from the intro video of the Saint Seiya anime Saint Seiya. Pegasus fantasy (neoclassical version) DEMIANG - YouTube
I was taking on everything without my Knights in WKC2. I got too used to it doing multiplayer in WKC. Once you understand how to fight them without Knights it is actually easier and faster most times doing it without the Knights. They seem all powerful, but in reality they are not so. You have to do a lot of work on them to make them stronger, which you don't get until later in multiplayer.
But eventually it'll get to the point where I'll be able to take on giants without a Knight, so it'll be fine Speaking of which, I'm very curious about the fifth Knight. Can't wait to see what it'll do in the story.
Yeah, that's WKC2. Things change pretty quickly in the game. So you'll want to get used to it quickly and the combat, because the boss fights will get rougher.
I think they were full map because I tried running away and he always got me. So I had to use Defend when I saw it coming. I'm guessing I'm in WKC2 now. I'm currently taking the party to Faria. I got a Game Over already since the Treants were too quick in killing Miu.
Ah, it's been a while since I played it. So I don't remember his attacks very well. Usually if you space yourself out you're good for AoE. Unless he has full map AoEs.
I really hated his AoE moves ._. Took me a few tries before I finally beat him.
Ah, I never really found the Black Usurper to be that much of a problem. It is the final boss, but it seemed like less trouble than the dragon. I'm glad you're enjoying the game.
Black Usurper was probably the toughest boss I had to fight, but I wasn't stalled as long as I was with the armored dragon. I guess it was because then - and only then - I realized I could switch characters with the Select button. Switching between Leonard and Caesar was probably what helped me win in the end. I do enjoy using combos with the bow and occasionally adding magic as a finisher. I'm investing points on both types of Magic and the bow for my character. I saved next to a training dummy just in case I needed to use it. Again, it's thanks to you I'm able to enjoy this game. Thank you, thank you, and thank you once again
Yeah, you shouldn't have another fight that hard until you get to WKC2. I'm not sure if they changed WKC with all of the skill changes they made in WKC2. Bow used to be a lot stronger, but it got weakened in WKC2. It's a lot more support in WKC2. Magic though is extremely powerful.
I had to retry many times because of that Armored Dragon (and the other fights before it), so I was relieved when I saw that the Sargatanas fight was less difficult. I was amazed how powerful the Dragon Knight was. Then I won't need to reset my skills ^^ I invested many skill points on Divine Magic, and more on Elemental Magic since the bow wasn't as powerful as I thought it was going to be ._. But it is pretty effective against some enemies. And figuring out an enemy's weakness with Hunter's Sense has been a help, but I guess that's because I'm just starting out ^^'
Yeah, the Casaer Ark fight is one of the harder ones in the game. It is where people get stopped a lot. Shadow was stalled there for a while. You get used to fighting things without a Knight when you do single player. So two greavers aren't too bad once you know what you need to do. Divine is a basic one everyone show have. You don't need all of it, but you need enough to be able to self heal and provide modest buffs. It is best to focus on one main weapon and then have support from other things.
