Maybe just Arch will see it. He's used to killing people, so he knows the glance in someone's eye when they wanna kill someone. Everyone else comes to their own conclusions eventually, but Arch knows as soon as Alther wants Elyon dead.
Maybe EVERYONE sees it, but Elyon blindly trusts Alther?

Yeah, like he's about to stab his sword into him, and Elyon's like "Oh, I know what we can do!" And walks off just as Alther stabs his sword into the wall. Of course, his cover blown, Alther will come up with many excuses.
That sounds pretty good. I like the idea of Elyon simply leaving right before Alther succeeds.
As soon as he learns about what Elyon did, he immediately wants him dead. But, he knows he can't just walk up to him and slit his throat, he needs a moment where he can do it undisturbed. That's why, they're going to be plenty of moments when they are alone, and Alther's rage will build and build. He'll come close, but he'll pretty much get stopped by something. Whether its one of us barging in suddenly, or Elyon moving before Alther can complete his revenge. Elyon won't "get it" until pretty much the end, when he's at the mercy of Alther.
Sounds good! Maybe Alther wants his return to Angelicos to be as memorable and shocking as can be!

Hmmm, maybe he honestly thinks Alther still likes him, so he wants to pass the planet to Alther, but Alther will hate him no matter what!
I don't think Elyon should know of Alther's hatred, yet, though. It was a sincere comment. He wants to trust the world with Alther. And maybe this could envoke some amount of change.
Really? I just came up with it the other day.
He wants a successor, then? That's close to what I was thinking, actually. By the time of the last chronicle, about 3 or so years have passed, and we're all veterans. Elyon can sense the end for him is near, so he wants to entrust the world to Alther. (But by the time he says this, he already hates Elyon. Perhaps, this will show that last hint of kindness left in him?)
'Sup? I was thinking, maybe Elyon remembers Alther (As in: never forgot) and the reason for bringing him in, is due to the fact that he thinks Alther can change, be more like him so that he has an heir, how does that sound?
