Okay, putting something on the table. I've reworded the plot a lot more, so there should be less confusion. To that end, I'm thinking of making Julius an optional party member. But, if I do that, would I need to make sidequests to get Ladon and Kariste, too? Also, I'm tinkering with the Movelist very slightly as I come up with RP costs and level requirements. As we agreed, the good stuff is kept in grimoires, which you'll obtain through various means. And then I thought about multiple summons handled through the same way. Of course, these grimoires would have to work on specific characters, and I'm not sure if you can do that. So... how's that? I really want to finish the plot so I can get to the more exciting details.
I'm brainstorming at present. I'm thinking if I should entirely change certain events, or simply hold them back until later.

Ralz: Well, I just think that might be a little too complicated, after all, Alther was the only character who had a potential love. But what about Krystal and me? It was originally thought like that! But i geuss it could work, Rather unusual actually... Most of the time, It's their sons or daughters that takes the place, So im kinda abit stumped here if we are to make this for the sequel. I have myself an idea for their unnecessary appearance actually, Let's say they are heroes from another game but got bored and got into this game instead to defeat the final boss, So their talking and speeches should be 4th wall breaking like. "Are we soon at the Final Boss?" or... "Anyone that can share me an Nintendo Controller, Mine broke yesterday!" or... Whatever else, They get pissed at you for trying to steal their spotlight and battle commences, After their defeat, They are never heard of again... Perhaps they appear in the credits? Projects are fascinating things, They can turn from measly tests into an more epic game style that you find pleasure working with, The worst is the waiting though...
I could also solve it just to have more problems arise. I suppose, but I'll have to make sure the ultimate baddie isn't entirely unknown until the last ten minutes of the game. (I'm looking at YOOOOOUUU, Necron. >_<) Well, he already looks like a dark dude in his current clothing, perhaps as a compliment to his recent collapse of mentality and lust for absolute domination, he dresses in party clothes to throw off his enemies. Lol. We can still have succession as a theme. Most of the characters have lives that would affect other people. It's not hard for Nova to meet with an apprentice mage or Ralz to meet with a thieving kid. Hell, this would be the prime opportunity to give out more abilities. I should really make that limited lifespan more apparent, like him weakening or something. It was an idea I forgot to explain. For now, let's just pretend Demi only knew Valerie. Anything involving getting Elyon out of Orderos should be unchanged. It seems confusing to keep those other characters. They'll probably be a random boss fight with no real warning. Double lol. Who knew one project would just be the start of a much more grand design?
Hmm kay. Yeah, We can say that Gabriel secretly worked for Shira, And that Gabriel's is the superiors messenger or perhaps some savant, Problem is... Who is the true baddie? Actually, I thinked myself that Elyon's new outfit would be more colourful than his last, Something that looks really Dark Emperor likey. Hmm, It was more of an thought on the successors, We could of course use both ideas, And... yeah... Poor Nova, Didn't thought of that. Well, You weren't really clear on that, They appeared inside an vision or maybe flashback but it wasn't sure if they were already dead or just somehow was related to something else. Good thing that we have lots of time.
I'll also have to change events so that they don't get solved till the last bit of the game. That probably means Archados will be on hold. Maybe Gabriel can be the second villain. I think this final guy should be someone of absolute badness. I suppose. For some reason, I can see most of the characters wearing black leather whatnots. I don't think they need children, but rather some younger people to pass the torch. A few years can easily accomplish this, besides, Nova's dying before long, so we should at least see the rest of his story before he croaks. Meigumi can easily find an apprentice with her teaching, as an example. Did they die in the prequel? I suppose we could involve them somehow, but probably as a reference no one will get. xD Yeah... <_>
Hahah, It took such long time making "Shira" an working powerful villian, But now we gotta have our ultimate evil here...... Ahha! Im going to steal alittle ideas from Alther here, We should use Gabriel as the true final boss? It was just an idea... Or perhaps that Shira returns for payback?! New change of clothes to everyone then! Im going to pity Meigumi for this... >:3 Of course we can still make an sequel. We just move forward another 14 years until our characters are adults and gotten their own kids, They could handle the next heroes role instead of us, Of course... We still might want to have some role into the fighting, We could become the extra characters, Valuble NPC's or just reknowned celebrities that saved the world... Twice! Demi and the others? Perhaps this world could work as an sort of heaven? Ever heard of reincarnations? They perhaps got sent there after dying? Well, So many scenario to choose from.
Ooh, smart thinking. We could use that to double or triple the game's length, and move it between multiple worlds. And just as well, I was thinking of some new villains, a group of people born from the Nexus who cause trouble. They'd be a lot more active than the Generals. But that's just an idea, too. Who would the ultimate evil be? The one who manipulates all the story's events, drives Shira to madness and presents themselves as the true villain? Also, if Elyon gets a change of clothes, so should the others. We can make it so a few years passed. And by the end of the game, we can recruit ALL members from the dimensions? I love it. Of course, that kinda makes a sequel unnecessary, but with enough content, we don't need one. I could also shoehorn in the prequel as well. The big issue though is if you want the Alpha team involved in this. Demi can just have his own arc without others. I feel like I'm rambling, but your idea is so good!
If we want new fresh ideas, You need to ask around for some, I have myself one, It'll make the game longer though, But it leaves open to many new scenarios we can choose from. The idea is that "Shira" will NOT be the final boss! After the credits and the events of the happenings, We can say we add two diffrent games into one (Yes, We still will make an sequel hopefully), Elyon is transported to another world after he got sucked into the nexus after the battle, This way... We can both use the old ideas and the new ideas as well, Let's say this made Elyon alittle Overlordly insane for some reason, And meets new allies and of the like... Perhaps getting an new badass suit and... Character style, I dunno. Before you ask, Yes he will meet up with his other friends later on, Perhaps one of Dr. Alheavas's experimental invention went amok and created an sort of Time Paradox tunnel that transported Meigumi and the others to the world which Elyon is, Problem is... They perhaps can't greet their friend the same way now... This could be an good solution instead of scraping the whole idea or thinking too much of the other plots, As new plots should come, This makes the game bigger yes, But if they could make "Chrono Trigger" an long exciting game! We can too! This is... However just an idea from me, Whenever it suits your plans or you like it is up to you, But you can always take bits from my idea and combine with others, I'd allow that. I think I'm way too lazy and unwilling to change most of the script. The best I can do is explain things a little better. I believe we're too far in to turn back on this project, so let's make this a stand-alone title. If another game is made with the same characters and world, it'll be an entirely different world. I almost feel ashamed, abandoning our hard work before it's even done, but I think a fresh idea would be popular, too. Of course, we can worry about the gameplay bits later.
I have an small idea... We should try and update the current stories we currently have until it's less vague, But if i make an sequel of this game, We can use this particular new type of story to work on. But for now, I guess we can't do much more than just update the story we have now, Perhaps we need to completely rewrite some parts... But rather that than everything... Your choise Ralz.
