Go to Treno and to the Auction House. Buy Rat's Tail, Doga's Artifact, Une's Mirror, and Griffin's Heart. Then go into town and outside the synthesis shop, you'll see a fat guy. Talk to him and when he makes an offer, refuse. Accept the second time, though. Then go inside the synthesis shop and talk to the scholar there. Accept. Then go outside and head down, there's a red mage. Talk to her and refuse first-accept second. Go one screen away then come back. Talk to her again. Do the same. Then go back to the Auction House. Buy Magical Fingertip. Then go to Daguerreo, and to the top floor. Talk to the old man and give him the Magical Fingertip, he'll give you the Excalibur. THE END!
I will have ago tonight Im upto the last to battles now anyway, will just have to check my levels. What equipment to steiner learn shock from? cos i dont think i got it.
I was only around level 60. Before fighting him, equip every character with Antibody, Body Temp, Clear Headed, and Jelly. Also, he's aerial, so Bird Killer helps, too. Seriously what I did, I just had Steiner use Shock, Dagger cast Curaga everytime Necron attacks, and Zidane just attacked and that was it! Level 60 is overkill for this guy! It worked for me, i don't know if it'll work for you, though. Just keep your characters ALIVE!
Heres an FFIX question for ya, Around what levels are your charcters when you get to necron? cos ive played the game lil 15 times and only done it once, and i got no idea how the hell i did it, everyone but vivi was dead and i cast one magic spell and he died YAY, but i only seem to get bout 2mins into the fight before im killed, any tips FFIX master??
