  1. Any time, my friend.
  2. Hmm. I'll have to think about this some more, clearly. If I still can't work something out, or if I do, I'll probably come say something in the United Catholics group. Thanks for your help man.
  3. If your faith is shaken by this, maybe. It's not really for me to judge. I am no authority on who goes to Heaven or Hell. There has to be some kind of accountability to Him, though. It's a bit like having your cake and eating it too, I think; getting to believe that God or His Son doesn't exist, but still going to Heaven when you die. It's like expecting everything whilst doing nothing.

Besides, these very good people might change their mind-especially if they're very good people. You can always pray for them and maybe try to guide them to faith. A number of people in my group of friends have come to faith due to praying and testament of other friends. One was a hardcore atheist, another was a wiccan, and another was even a satanist. They all turned away from that and followed Christ.

I can't tell you the exact answer you're looking for; you will have to find that on your own. And it isn't my place to make you believe anything you don't want to believe. Follow your own heart, and do what you think is right. What is true for me might not be true for you.

I'm sorry if that's all repeated/similar thoughts and/or garbled ideas, but it's 2:30 AM; just happened to get online because I couldn't sleep. Anyhoo...

  4. "The way I see it is if you know about God and His teaching and such, yet you still turn away, you're rejecting Him."

So am I doing this if I don't want to accept it? What if I have friends who aren't Catholic/Christian, what happens to them, according to this teaching, even if they are really good people?

It's always kind of niggled at me, ever since I became aware of liberal thoughts, really. But I've only really thought deeply about it recently.
  5. That's a hard one to accept, eh? That's literally billions of people who won't be saved. I struggle with it, myself, sometimes. I struggle with a lot of things, in fact, but I wouldn't say it doesn't mak me a christian anyore. The only person who can really say that you aren't one is yourself (or the church, if the excommunicated you. Which I think you have to be pretty bad for that to happen.)

The way I see it is if you know about God and His teaching and such, yet you still turn away, you're rejecting Him. He who created everything, including you. Would you invite someone into your home who denied that you exist, for whatever reasons? Still, some people also think that there is one last chance after death to accept God or deny Him. I would like to think that is a possibility.

Who really knows, though? We won't know for sure until we're dead, eh? How long have you been struggling with this, btw? Maybe you need to give it more time, and to pray about it a lot. Hope that helps. Anyhoo...

  6. You seem like the appropriate person to ask:
