The British got a concession with the foreign minister though. Damn Brits think they run Europe I just genuinely feel that Europeans are more trustworthy anyway, so I expect that from politicians either side of the fence.
The British were giving Van Rompuy a hard time in the press, but if it were up to them, there'd be no non-English politician in charge. And I guess you could call him centre-right to European standards. I didn't vote for his party, but he's a good minister and he's an honest, intelligent man.
I was going to ask what you thought of the EU. I heard that the British and the Belgians were the biggest opponents to it, but I have no idea if that's accurate or not. I like it how an apparently 'centre-right' politician is it's president. Shit, imagine a 'centre-right', non-European politician in a different union. Europe is awesome, and the EU represents all that I like about it.
