So I mixed it with Fate and got Fataan, which I pronounced the same as Canaan, only with an F and a T sound. Faten is how you spell that pronunciation. xD Yep, and it looks to be a decent size now. Hahaha, very "me?" I totally get what you mean! XD But even though orange is my favorite color, I just love blue banners. <.< And the fonts idea was actually stolen right off someone esle's banner, but he won't know. ^~ Still, different fonts, different placements, shading, but the many different fonts was his idea, I think. And I bought it for the PS3! EXCEPT...Last year, I was struggling whether or not I wanted to buy a 360 or a PS3 (since I didn't have enough for both), so because Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Infinite Undiscovery were for the 360, I went with that. And I never saw reason to get a PS3, either. UNTIL...I realized my mistake and tried to find one. So I ventured out yesterday and today, desperately in search of a PS3, but they were all SOLD OUT! >=( But I still bought the game, even though I've yet to buy me a console. << *SOBS* Also, I REFUSE to buy the 360 version. >=o

You also sized it down on this forum as well. I have that problem of making banners too big, and then having to resize them later, but that's not hard to do. I think that this looks very "you". I like the grid effect for the background, and that blue and white really pop against a dark background. I also like that you used different fonts, and they all work together to create visual interest. By the time you read this, FF XIII will have been available to the US. Congratulations! Oh, I was hit with a bamboo rod before! Those things hurt! Someone was just playing around, so I didn't get hit because of punishment, but I did want to take that bamboo rod and smack them with it! Did you get hit on the hands or something by the priest? That sounds like what the catholic nuns did to the kids as punishment when I was in preschool. Well, hopefully if we have kids (not together of course ), they'll be so well-behaved that we don't have to use discipline like that. ^^ OH GEEZ FATE!!! That little scenario does NOT help with my fear of flying! I don't know what it is, but male voices appeal to me more. I agree about Amy Lee though. I've listened to her stuff, and she does have a very good voice. I don't listen to it often, but when her song "My Immortal" was big, I loved that song. More like bamboo twigs or such, I think...<.< We had a priest that would constantly dish out punishment for people who are late or don't remember their lessons. But he was the only person who got anything done, so people admired him. But his disciplinary ways were...a bit on the harsh side. x( I'd feel guilty for inflicting pain, too. But you never know when a pilot just wants to kill everyone...You know, like they're crazy? Using sticks on your backside? Like a switch or something? We always got the belt. We never had a paddle, and we rarely got a switch. My old elementary school was allowed to use corporal punishment on the kids. Not sure if they can still do it though. I don't think that I would have it in me to strike my child. It would make me feel so guilty. That's why I think I wouldn't make a very good parent, because I lack the ability to discipline, especially if it makes them cry. I guess that's why they have to go through all that training. I liked All Around Me. Again didn't really hit with me, but I'm an old fart, so I'm particular about the music I listen to, and I don't really care for a whole lot of female singers. I don't know why. I guess a man's singing voice is more appealing? I know... I'm weird. Thank God I don't have to write stories for a living. I think that kind of work would be stressful. The border along the bottom and right side is a nice touch. One thing: The font where it says "Faten" has the letters F A T more visible than the letter E N, so when you glance at it, you read FAT.

My parents, if I remembered, used physical discipline (since where we were from, people didn't mind). It worked well on my sisters, but for me, I've been told I laughed through everything. x3 I'm always scared it falls, too. Haha... You got me. I actually am pretty forgetful. I remember when I was in 8th grade, and I would forget my homework at school a lot. My parents would get mad about it, so they decided that since I forget so much, they would humiliate me for it. I had to wear a piece of paper pinned to my shirt that said my name, my address and my phone number on it to school. I had to wear it for a whole day, and if I took it off, my parents said that the next punishment would be worse than that. I still kind of resent them for the stuff they did to me when I was growing up, but I'm sure you don't want to hear about that. You're not a therapist, but if you happen to know a good one, you can send me some info! I'm scared of planes, and I don't really know why. They are the safest form of travel, but I'm scared of one crashing. You used lyrics in the background eh? Always a nice touch. That golden yellow color against the darker color give it an antique and older look, which is nice. I haven't really heard any songs from Flyleaf though. I think that's really the only way to do blackmail, is if you have some juicy info. Of course, you can always just make something up, but chances are the other person would know that you're bluffing. It is a crime, and a pretty serious one at that. Not as serious as murder, but you're still making the life of someone else miserable. I'll have to take that quiz again and do different answers to see, but I'm pretty sure that most of the answers would be "roasted something or other".

Yeesh... Sorry to hear about the early years while you were in America. I have some family that I'm not particularly proud of, and I barely speak to them, so I know how you feel. Isn't Japanese one of the hardest languages to learn? Actually, I think English is known to be the hardest one, but I think learning Japanese when English was my first language would be tough. So that's how you do it! I suck at making my own BGs. That's why I cheat and just use a picture, or I keep a solid color. Hmm.. I think it's more evil to keep the info to yourself and hang it over someone's head than to outrightly say what you know. Yeah, it probably is more dumb to do the latter, but I don't think I would have gained anything from them if I had "blackmailed" them. I'm guessing you don't want me to blackmail VMM, right? I don't think I have much to go on to blackmail him anyway. He's good about keeping his tracks covered. Well, even those topics are a little more in-depth than something I could come up with about a quiz like "what would you taste like'? Like Gypsy's "What kind of drunk are you?" she asked us to tell some memorable drunken stories. I don't think anyone has any stories about the last time they ate human flesh, or was told that they tasted like something.
I can remember one thing on the airplane. =) And that's that towards the end, I didn't drink my beverage and brought with me a can of Seven Up. xD But to be honest, the early years over here were complete hell, since the family (as in, related to us) we stayed with was...a disgrace to human nature, to say the least. >< One of my sisters and me automatically got citizenship when my parents passed a couple years ago, too. =) You should totally learn Japanese or something. 8D Some of the dusty, abstract, fractal, grunge, and shine brushes are great for making custom backgrounds! In the majority of my banners, I just use one of them as white, then overlay it with color. =) XD Excuses, excuses. But if you just out-rightly say it, doesn't that make you even more evil than someone who uses blackmail, but stupider, since you don't get anything? =P And also...You should totally blackmail one of those two. ^~ One, though; I'll blackmail you if you blackmail the wrong one. Aww... Now I really wish that you would have kept some of your earlier memories. I would ask you all kinds of things, like what was the trip over here like, and how was it going through customs and getting your citizenship? Pretty sure that since you were so young, you had an easier time of getting your citizenship, since I think it's really just up to your parents. And yeah, I know. I'm just lazy. Cool! Thanks a lot! I'll check around and see about some brushes later. Technically, I wasn't blackmailing anyone. If I was, I would simply say, "I know something about you and I'm going to use it if you don't give me what I want". I didn't do that with Ralz and VMM. I just outrightly said what I knew and what I found without really wanting anything in return, other than that it showed me that they once were fans. And that's all I need to know. I think that the IQ test had a little more substance that a test asking what you would taste like. At least people could talk about how standardized test for measuring one's intelligence really aren't accurate and are totally unfair to most of the population who don't have access to great learning establishments.
