hey, did you try out the text-based game yet? just wondering. i spent time with the family today and it was nice, we went for a hike down a trail that i don't remember the name of and then we had kabobs that had chicken and vegetables on a stick and then we played board games.
Still in Watermia. Haven't gotten around to picking it back up since getting there. I guess I just get in those spells where I'll play a game for a while, then put it down for a while, and then pick it back up again. It would make a lot more sense to go ahead and FINISH what I start, but I guess I get distracted too easily.
by the way, how far are you in IoG now? you should also play that while taking breaks from FFXIII as well.
Alright. I'll get in installed and see what it's about then. I do need something constructive to do while I'm taking breaks from FF XIII. This seems like it'll do just fine.
Oh, it won't take up much of your time at all. It is a pretty short game, its not like those several day long rpg games.
Doing alright, thanks for asking. I read a little about it, and it does seem cool! I'll see if I can patch it into my game and check it out. It may be a bit before I do, because I still have FF XIII to go.

Oh yeah! But those were more battle commands than cutscene commands, but I suppose they could function about the same way.
Not to mention Kingdom Hearts II. Remember the reaction commands you had to do?
I did that too. The Crystarium gets waay expensive later on in the game, but in the early part, it's not so bad, and kind of good to get everyone maxed out on all their tiers. You want those stat boosts! ^^ Oh, I think that would be awesome if they did interactive cutscenes! Reminds me a bit of what they did in RE4 and the MGS series.
I figured you would like it haha. i'm making progress in XIII by the way, currently at chapter 5 doing plenty of battling for spoils and crystarium points. I read on some website recently that the final fantasy developer is planning on doing cutscene interactivity for future FF titles

well if you look at it this way, there are parts of mgs4 that have you play parts of the first MGS so if you haven't played MGS1 but played it via mgs4 you have played it lol. i FINALLY got FFXIII now. fixing to pop that sucka in and start playing.
Haha.. Once I complete FF XIII, I'm going to pick up and play MGS4 again. Glad to hear that you're not stuck anymore. Once you complete the game, tell me your ranking, because I'm curious as to what you got. There's a LOT of throwbacks to the other games in the series, which is a good thing, because I haven't played the first MGS or the second, and seeing those scenes gives me a feel for some of the backstory of the characters. ^^
