Well we're opposites in that regard! I'm the oldest of my three younger siblings, whom are all boys. Just pretend that the robotic voice is whatever fiend you come across; Perfect anger management right there! Yes, I was so pleased with the graphics that I am able to excuse the fact that its so short. I mean, a little longer of a game would have been nice, but I do like the fact that it was short and sweet. Just like... Zack's life... ;~; *Bursts into tears* ...Well his life wasn't really that sweet but it was short.
I'm the youngest one out of a family of five. Yeah, I know. xD It gets annoying hearing those two phrases so often: "Initiating Combat Mode" and "Conflict Resolved." =P I swear, I wanted to punch that robotic voice a lot of times! Hahahaha. The graphics are beautiful, aren't they, for a PSP game? Those flashbacks when the DMW spins are even more impressive. =D
Ah, well being the only male might have something to do with your dad expecting certain things of you. Where do you stand, age-wise? Oldest, youngest, in between? Oh sweet, good thing I've got a few Phoenix Downs lying around in that game. I'm trying to force myself to do some tedious missions, so I don't end up forgetting about the game before I beat it. But it gets so booooooring, ya' know? xD I know right? If most of my time spent playing the game weren't during breaks at work, I would have completed it by now. But I like the amount of quality they really put into those cutscenes, it really impressed me and set a new standard for the PSP for me. I'm so glad it didn't end up being Tetsuya Nomura's usual in-game character models that just open and close their mouths while constantly nodding whenever the character talks. xD
My dad isn't much taller than me, barely 5,4". And yeah, I'm the only male child in my family. Hahaha. Now you know. =P They're also used for maximizing stats later on. You can have any Materia with a HP +999%/99 ATK/et cetera with ease! =D But really, without missions, the game is so short. xD It's shame, though, as the game is very good. At the end, I couldn't believe it was over. I mean, it took me three days in all. =P
Wowwww that's short! But I just remembered you're young, so I guess its not that surprising. How tall is your dad? Are you by any chance the only male of your siblings? Yeah it does, which is awesome. And I was just about to say that I had no idea how Phoenix Downs worked, since there are no other party members to use it on you, but now it seems so obvious... You just use it and it grants Auto-Life, right? Well don't I feel foolish. Ohhhh, yeah I wouldn't have figured that since besides the beginning and end of the game, I didn't do missions at all. ^ ^;
Maybe around 4,8' or something. xD I got beat. =P What's so annoying is that my dad keeps making me do chin-ups and drink milk because he said it'll make me tall. But I like my height, I don't WANT to be 6 feet. =| But he could care less what I want. Wait, it bestows Auto-Life thing? I never got Phoenix. If so, Phoenix Downs can do the same, and you can steal 99 from Minerva, the superboss. I read up on it, and it seems that I must be on chapter ten or something.
It can definitely be creepy, but as long as somebody asks, most of the time I won't mind. What's annoying is when people just hug you without any sort of warning. Really? How short are they? I don't think I know anybody my age or around there that's shorter than me... *Sigh* Most of my friends are around a year or two younger than me, but they all look older. I know, especially the Phoenix! Whom would be pretty useful for the fight against Genesis, since I'd love a Revive... Shinra Electronic Power Company - Training. First you have to fight 50 infantrymen, I believe.
That would creep me out, being hugged randomly by strangers. There's only one kid in my class who is shorter than me. =P I think so, yeah. But you're right, she shows up so much! =O I like the summons, but they seldom show up. =| Which is the thousand fights in?
For sure! People go crazy over the fact that I'm so tiny. If I were normal size, it definitely wouldn't be the same. xD At cons, I get hugged by strangers all the time because I'm so "cute and small". Has Aerith's always granted invincibility? I noticed it causes break and gives you thousands more HP which I loved. What I didn't love, was how often I would get Aerith in the DMW whenever I didn't need her. Like that part where you need to fight through the SOLDIERs in Nibelheim and prevent them from taking Cloud, I got Aerith soooo often it wasn't even funny. She'd be all, "Good luck!" And I'd be all, "GO AWAY!" Okay, so here are the sets that I have finished completely: Shinra Electric Power Company - Peacekeeping Troops - Weapons Development Genesis' Forces - Genesis' Forces on the March To End the War with Wutai - Pursue the Remnants - Behind the Scenes Seeking Precious Items - Looking for Items - Midgar City Development Department Seeking Priceless Items - Recall Missions And that's it. I've done others but, haven't yet completed the sets they're part of.
I like climbing and jumping onto things, too. xD I'm also really fast for the short kid. But really, I think I'm more loved--by the kids older than me and the ones younger than me--because I'm short; it probably wouldn't be that way if I was tall. xD The short ones are always favored. =P Is that true in your case? You're welcome, Shiny! =D Though, the summons tend to get useless after you achieve the "immortal level" that breaks the game. xD Except for Aerith's, since it grants invincibility, which is sometimes vital. If you don't mind, that is.
Ooooh, usually I'll climb on top of stuff and try to get it myself, unless that's not an option, then I'll ask other people to do it. It can also be inconvenient at times though, for example; I'll be standing there talking to somebody, and right in the middle of my conversation somebody else will walk over to me, pick me up and carry me off, should the whim strike them. I usually have no say in that. Ohhhh, that makes sense. Thank you detective Fate! If you want, I can check what missions I have done, and you can compare and see if there are any that you haven't done yet? Want me to do that?
With me, even though I'm older than most of the guys in class, I can get lazy and ask them to do favors for me instead, since they're all taller. xD Those were the passwords. One asks you to count the floating monsters, one to count that one apple-like fruit, et cetera. They change for all people, so you have to count for yourself. But when the safe opens, you get a Materia and a Cactuar jumps out. Well, not locked, but not showing. xD I mean, I've done all the available Training Missions mission already, but that one is still hidden. I wonder what it takes to open it?
Haha, well your eye is adorable! =P Also, from experience I've realized that there can be lots of advantages to being small and looking young (though I don't know if you look particularly younger than you are). Like, depending on what I'm wearing, I can sometimes still get crayons and paper at restaurants. =D I never even came across that safe, but I also didn't explore the entire mansion from head to toe. What was with those locked rooms? Why did it let you look through the keyholes? You have missions locked? How does that happen? Or do you mean you just don't have them available yet? Though I doubt that's it because, its one of the early sets of missions you get I think...
But tiny things are cute, meaning we both must be, like, ADORABLE!! =D The safe is on the second floor of the Shinra Mansion. You need a four digit code to open it, which is always different, but it's easy: you just need to count. I have them locked, and I don't know how to unlock thdm. Perhaps I'll look it up, then. Sounds fun.
Aaaahhh, no I didn't! Where was this safe? I feel like such a jerk now. I left him for dead.
