Hehe. That's a good album, but it's frowned upon by many a fan, because it doesn't sound like the dEUS they fell in love with. It takes getting used to when you've been yelling along with Suds and Soda and been covering Instant Street on your own acoustic guitar for years. Great album though. Congrats on owning a physical dEUS album. What are your favourite songs from The Ideal Crash?
So I walk into the largest CD store in the country, 100s of kilometres from my home, and there is ONE dEUS album, marked down like the shit albums that nobody is buying. Vantage Point. At less than half price. So now I actually own a physical dEUS album.
Do you like the Mars Volta? I just bought Louise Attaque, as well as Ideal Crash by dEUS. Oh, I went and watched Donnie Darko, Fight Club, and Pulp Fiction. Crossing off a serious to do list in my cinematographical experience I managed to get all three on DVD for $10. Thank you, advent of Blu-Ray.
I think the album I like is just called 'Louise Attaque'.
I have only the smallest ideas of what they're saying, but if they're anything like the Violent Femmes, then I'll give them a go. Which album?
Louise Attaque?
Well I couldn't find it in any of my three CD stores, so I had to buy it from the iTunes store. I actually couldn't find any dEUS in any store, and none of my friends have heard of them. I'm 99% sure that they are completely unknown in NZ. But there was no special edition on the iTunes store. I've got my friends onto dEUS now though. Judging by the success of that, what is another band I may or may not have heard, that I should attempt to find?
If you had had the special edition you could tell me what's so special about it, so I'd know if I should buy it or not. ^^
Just the regular one I think. Why's that?
Yo. I saw that you had been listening to the first dEUS album. Did you buy the regular version or the special fifteenth anniversary one (or whatever that special edition is)?
Oxfam Unwrapped: "I’ve bought you a pair of chickens ... but they are winging their way to where they are needed most. It’s time to start a coop. Almost half the world’s population lives on less than $2 per day. Your eggstraordinary gift will give much so much to a family living in extreme poverty. Chickens provide an excellent source of income through the sale of chicks, eggs and meat. They are a valuable source of nutrition and their waste makes great organic fertiliser. Purchases of Unwrapped chickens contribute to our livelihoods work in Papua New Guinea. Your gift provides a much needed hand-up, not a handout." To RagnaToad, This is for being a cool dude and a nice person. If more people were nice, then more people would get sweet gifts like this. I wish you a happy Christmas and the best of luck for 2010. Peace and Love, Alpha.
A good song that is.
I thought it was excellent. Whoever made it has a sense of humour I can deal with. Anyhoo. This. It's been in my head all day... what a great day!
It's "wtf'
It's good yes?
