I can try and do something about the avatar. I'm not the greatest at cutting real people from photographs, but I'll certainly give it a go (practice makes perfect, right?). And cool images. I'll work on this later. Hopefully, you'll have it before the weekend is out.
Keep in mind that I am (really) inept with computers, and especially making art with them. I like the avatar I have at the moment, but the white space pisses me off. Is there some way to make it transparent? Or alternatively add a background to it? In one of the corners, could you please add: Aα (i.e. capital A, and the lower-case Greek a (alpha).) For a signature... hmm. Something along these lines. For the signature: you're the artist, and I believe in creative control

Yes it is. You freak me out though. I was thinking about VMing you last night to ask if you'd make me a signature to match. I didn't because I tend to change my mind about my avatar about 5x as frequently as most.
