-Final Fantasy 4 (PC Version)- My Experience (Day 4)

Hello again! Hope all is well!

So, I explored the town of Kaipo with Rydia. There weren't any items in any of the jars or crates. I thought this was a bit strange, considering how many items were in Baron. But then, I guess it makes sense; Baron is a kingdom while Kaipo is just a little desert village.

Everything is the same as it was in the original, save for a gigantic chocobo in the upper-left corner of town. When I talked to it, a menu came up that had three options, but they were all ???, so I will have to check back later. I'm pretty sure that one of the options is the bank system, but I wonder what the other two could be...

I found Rosa, infected with Desert Fever, in the same house as always. After the cutscene, I received an Augment, which are new to the remake. This particular one is Auto-Potion, and while it might be useful (especially on Rydia), I can only use it on one character, so I think I will save it for now.

I wanted to train Rydia up a bit before heading to the north cave, but she kept dying, so that took up a lot of my time! Even in the back row with the best armor available, she doesn't last long, especially against the Sand Worm, haha. But I got her up to level 14 and she's doing much better now. I think we will be able to hold our own, especially once Tellah joins the party. Can't wait to fight the boss at the end of the cave!

Well, so far so good, but that's all I have to say for now. As always, wish me luck, and I'll see you tomorrow! Have a great day!

Keeping Rydia alive is always a handful at the start of the game, and then when Tellah comes along you have twice the trouble

Using auto battle to level grind your characters was a really smart idea, I can't believe I never thought to try it lol
