Let's see, what did I do today?

After posting the previous entry, I ended up not being able to fall back to sleep. So I stayed up. At 8am, I fed the kittens lowercase, Flea, and Stri-P-Grr. No sign of the adult cats. Most likely they walked back to the house. I gave the kittens food and milk. They are getting to be so big. lowercase no longer looks so scrawny. I think the new environment has done well for him. He's playing and exploring more, and he's getting more of an appetite. Of course, he could be eating more because he isn't sharing with 5 other cats. Yeah, that's probably it. Stri-P-Grr acts as if being chased by Jackson never happened. I'm glad. I was worried she would turn wild and not trust me anymore. And Flea, well, he's a spoiled brat and always will be.
When Carma came home from work this morning, she had me put the numbers on the mailboxes. While I was doing that, the mail carrier drove up. She handed me my mail, and then said that she left some other mail at the house. She said it looked like junk mail. She apologized for it. Anyway, when I am on my way to town in the morning, I will stop at the mailbox and see if it's there. Chances are it won't be because my father is jerk who gets off on stealing from his children. He must, because why else would he not let me have my dog?
I guess my brother's girlfriend is in some hot water, and trying to drag other people in with her. Carma was pulled over last night. There was a warrant out for Amy's arrest, and the license plate Amy committed her crimes with is the same license plate that Carma uses to drive her car. So the police pulled Carma over, thinking it was Amy. When Carma got back this morning, she called the ticketing people about the whole situation and that's how she learned the specifics on Amy's warrant. And then she called Amy's parole officer and reported that Amy has a warrant. And while this was going on, I was telling Mom about it through text message. I figure by now my brother knows. Or maybe he doesn't. Oh well.
I have been here by myself since about 1:30pm. Carma had to leave early to meet with her lawyer. And because of that, Joey got off the school bus elsewhere. So it's just been me, Jackson, the cats Brutus and Cleo, and the kittens. I turned my laptop off, and it had to do that whole update thing. And since it was pretty bare of everything, it had 150 updates to go through. It was nearly 9pm when it finally finished. I blame the Internet signal. It's only at 70% strength here in my room.
Anyway, tomorrow I am delivering in Peebles. And the best part is that it is forecast to be 70 degrees Fahrenheit with 0% chance of rain. The wind will be blowing some, but it will be manageable. I guess the weather gods finally got the message to change which day it will rain. Maybe they're feeling sorry for me about the Luca situation and are giving me a break. I am taking my old laptop with me so my sister can pick it up tomorrow. I am glad it won't be raining like last week. I had a laptop then too, but it was covered in bubble wrap. This one won't be.
Well, I have to be up in four hours, so I better try and sleep so I can "wake up". I hope I can. Anyway, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
