The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Fighting the sickness...

Rate this Entry
I haven't been feeling the healthiest lately. I used some of the money Larry paid me to buy orange juice, and some fruity candy. I am at the stage now where my voice doesn't want to stay in one tone, and I still have a runny nose. Other than that, I feel fine. However, despite my attempts at keeping everyone else healthy by staying in my room and keeping contact at a minimum, everyone seems to be sick. I am thinking that they were all carrying the bug, but only are just now showing signs. Or because they are used to being around snot-nosed kids, this cold doesn't hit them as hard as it hit me. Anyway, I was well enough to go out and help Larry yesterday afternoon. So I guess I am getting over it.

I have a PS Vita now. The games I have for it are LittleBig Planet, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Conception II, Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, and Mortal Kombat. Then I have some games in my PSN Download list that can be played on the Vita. And then I also bought Tales of Hearts R today online, and I'm currently downloading it. Just 61 minutes left to go, for the 91 MB remaining.

We had a power outage today. That wasn't fun.

Carma was mad today. Autumn left her daughter here, and took Joey and Jesse to stay somewhere overnight. From what I could overhear, Autumn wasn't coming back when Carma said to. So she packed up Makayla's backpack, and took her to where Autumn was, and brought back Joey. But I don't think that is what Carma was really angry about. Yeah, it's a big part of it, but I think the fact of having a kid follow you around and you can't verbally tell her to stop is what bothered her the most. Carma's way of speaking a bit gruff and not a way that she should've spoken to someone at any hearing level.

Oh well.

The puppies are all doing well. Luca looks as if she is just skin and bones. Her appetite has gone down, but she is eating. She doesn't like it when people come see the puppies. The only person that can come near her without being barked at is me. And that's understandable, because I am her person. But Joey and Jackson will learn that they can't show up unannounced like that.

The puppies themselves are so cute! I was going to check their genders today, but Luca had other plans. She wanted me to get muddy. I did not want to get muddy. So we made an agreement to check the puppies some other day. I don't really need to know which ones are males, and which ones are females. Not today at least.

Well, I have 98 minutes left on the Tales of Hearts R download (74 MB remaining). So, I guess I will try and play something while I wait. I really like the Whack-A-Mole-esque game in LittleBig Planet. I could play that one for hours. Anyway, I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael

"61 minutes left to go, for the 91 MB remaining." =/

Best part of a vita though, you can keep playing even when the power goes out
You should have a look at disgaea to see if you'll like it. I think you would. Its a really fun tactics game.

Did you notice that it became slower later in the entry? When I started, it was 61 minutes for 91 MB; then at the end it 98 minutes for 74 MB. A storm was rolling through, affecting the wi-fi speed.

I am interested in the Disgaea series. However, I am not very good at Tactics games. I still haven't finished any of the ones in the Final Fantasy series. I applaud those that have finished any Tactics game.

You only think you are not good at tactics games. Tactics games vary heavily in difficulty and style and even overall gameplay. A theme that I love about disgaea is that your characters max out at lvl 9999, but you can 'reincarnate' them back to lvl 1, whilst keeping a percentage of their stats, and then max them out all over again. But with special maps and training methods, levelling can become a breeze post game (which is where the REAL fun begins, mwahha).

You start out doing about 10 - 100 damage to enemies. And lets just say... theres a trophy for dealing 10,000,000,000 damage to an enemy. Thats right. Ten Billion.

FFT actually has battles that are REALLY hard and a couple parts in the game have made people restart their entire file because they saved during the Event and wasn't high enough lvl. (noob move for not having a save file prior to the even) but still, the boss fight is incredibly hard.

disgaea series = the ultimate tactics fun. You can pick up and throw characters and enemies around the map and stack your characters to use powerful 'tower' attacks. I got a lvl 1200 character cracking the 200k damage mark.
