Today wasn't fun.

Work today was not fun at all. I woke up to the next wave of the thunderstorm, and was actually afraid I wouldn't be able to go to work at all. But I braved the storm and arrived at the office at 8:15am. I left the house early because the storm had subsided for the moment. After buying a soda at the store (which I still haven't finished and it's now 9:30pm), I began working on the paper.
I had a lot to do, and I didn't finish until nearly 3pm. Then, the owner had to personally check my work, and tore the paper to shreds, metaphorically. She inspected every inch of it, and there was hardly an ad that she liked enough to leave alone. I couldn't do anything except sit there and take it. In the end, I said that I had to go, claiming that I had a tutoring session to prepare for (which was true at the time). I was allowed to leave, and was told that I needed to come to work on Monday for more training. The other important thing I was told was that Misty would be able to make the changes to this paper so it can sent to press. Which is fine with me. At the time I just wanted to get done and go home. I didn't have fun, so it wasn't worth my time. Which is weird of me, because normally I am all for staying late and earning more money. This time I didn't want to.
When I got home, I waited for Joey to show for tutoring. And waited. And waited. In the end, he never showed up. So, I turned on the PS3, and played Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer. And before I knew it, it was 8:30pm. I had to stop playing anyway, because I was really tired. I did some more winning in deathmatches. I am really getting good at them. I like blasting on those punk kids. And I even found a few others who feel the same way about them. Seriously, cussing people out like that doesn't make your gaming skills increase. If anything, it makes you a prime target of mine. I tend to go after those people and gain friends by doing so.
I even won a couple races, which is awesome. I am horrible at racing, but I brought my A-game today. If only the other people racing would have stayed longer in the races. They would leave the games if they got too far behind. Which is not good, because it limits who earns money to raise their level.
Which reminds me. I raised my level today. I am level 3 now. I need another $50,000 to go up to the next level. As for where I am in the overall rankings, I am still within 2 million. There is only one of my PSN friends higher than me though. That will change soon though. Maybe. I don't know.
Tomorrow I am delivering the baseball issue of the newspaper. It is 16 pages, so I don't know how long it will take. It has been nearly a year since the last time the paper has been 16 pages. It shouldn't be a rainy day tomorrow, so the weather won't hinder me. But the size of the paper makes it more difficult. I can't fit as many papers in my messenger bag. Which means I will have to make more trips back to the office to refill.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
