Dad took me to work this morning. He had to borrow twenty dollars from me to get gas and unfortunately cigarettes. I told him that he could borrow money for gas, but I don't like to have my money used to fuel an addiction. But anyway, he said he'll pay me back.

I asked if he would help me take the extra boxes of recycling to the bin today. After I loaded the nineteen boxes in the back of the truck, he said "If I had known there were that many boxes, I would have got out and helped." Really Dad, would you? I was loading heavy boxes for ten minutes and you sat there keeping your seat warm.

Anyway, the reason I asked if he would help me take them to the bin was because the papers weren't here yet. I was freaking out, because my mind immediately thought I did something wrong and somehow didn't send it to the press correctly. Then I remembered, the papers are almost always late on Thanksgiving week. No one knows why, it's just one of those things.

So I sat there and did nothing except wait. For an hour. And of course they arrived while I was at the store getting something to eat. I wanted to get them to take the papers they sent to us that were meant for someone else. A few months ago, we were given about 400 papers meant for somewhere in Kentucky. I have been trying to catch them and ask them to take them back. But every time they arrive while I am not there. Oh well, maybe next year.

I finished my route at 10:15. Considering I started late, I made up for it. The stapler was acting fine, and the papers were easier to toss (because they were four pages bigger this week). The paper this week looks amazing, and I am not just saying that. The only mistake I found with it was the fact that I put "Congratulations Basketball Team!" on the back page. I should have made team plural. But as Iris said when I told her, "if that's the only thing wrong with the paper, then it's still a great paper."

I called my brother and asked if he would pick me up. As he was pulling in the parking lot, he screeched his tires. Iris, Gabby, and I all heard it, and Iris exclaimed "Who is this douchebag pulling in?" Then she looked a bit closer and saw that it was my brother. She then corrects herself and says, "Oh sorry, it's your brother." Gabby then said, "I should go out there and ask if he's a child molester." I go outside and see my brother lifting my bike into his boat of a car. He drives a really old maroon Ranchero. But it just floats on the road, almost as smooth as my bike. And it really looks like a boat. Kinda like this...

Anyway, when we get home, we see Dad's bus to his class (a big white van). Dad left, and shortly after, my brother left to visit some friends. So I was left at the house by myself. I loaded up The Ring on YouTube, and watched it. It wasn't scary at all. I tried to find the sequel, but was unsuccessful.

I did a bad thing as I was typing this up. The phone rang, and it was Suzy. She either comes over or calls everyday. Frankly, I am sick of it. She asked if Dad was still awake, and I told her that he wasn't even though he is (I think, he may be "watching" a movie). Then as she kept talking, I hung up. I am tired of her and Dad both. Dad complains that the class he has been court ordered to take prohibits him from earning money because he spends the majority of the work day in class. Well, how can he earn money when Suzy is here every day or calling him every single day?

Moving on...kinda...

As tomorrow is Thanksgiving, the plan is to go to Grandma's for dinner. The thing is, I kinda don't want to go. The reason being that Dad is going. I don't want to act like a big happy family when in my head I want to smash his head with a snowglobe. After that arguement we had over who gets to come here, it's like he hasn't changed at all. Oh well. If I do go, I will be going on my bike. That way I can leave when I want to, and not when he is ready to.

In gaming news, I finally finished Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom this evening. It was such a stupid game. I mean, if a character touched the "water", they would die. Hello, they were already in water! How can they touch water and die if they were in water to begin with?

But the good news is that I have only one game left before I can focus on Final Fantasy VII. As boring as it seems, I will try and complete Legion. It can't be too hard, all you do is hit one button repeatedly until the enemies die. Days and Revenant Wings will take a backseat so I can get Legion out of the way. And it also means that I can return the games I borrowed to Vince.

Random Fact: Have you ever watched the movie Bio-Dome? Well, I have been there. Only once. Ever since then, Mom would say that we were there when we watch the movie. I bring this up because Dad and I watched it tonight, and I mentioned it.

That's all for now. Oh, as for title. My computer shut down while I was typing this up once, and thankfully I was able to get it all back when I started it back up. Hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
