Sometimes, thinking of a title is the hardest part...

Let's see, what has happened lately...
Wednesday was a normal day. Not much to talk about.
Thursday went fine, in my opinion. I dressed a little warmer than normal, but it didn't help much. I underestimated how cold it would be. My legs were physically shaking, which never happens. I think my route went well. However, I have the feeling a certain person had something else to say on the matter. I truly think that they are just trying to find a reason to make me leave. It wouldn't be the first time. They gave Jennifer unrealistic sales goal, and said that if she doesn't meet them, then she's fired. They said that she was costing them too much money to keep around. Which is a load of crap, because she was being paid on commission only. The only money she was costing the company was the 10% she agreed upon at the start of her employment. And the owner didn't like Gabby, and made it known to everyone. In the end, Gabby left because she found a better job.
It's just what they do. They make up some ridiculous excuse, and focus on that until they get their way. Heck, if I didn't know better, I'd say that they want me gone because I am a guy. Or because of who my parents are. Which is as ridiculous as not paying me the same rate as the other carriers because I ride a bicycle. For being an equal opportunity employer, they sure don't treat their employees equally when they hire them.
I have been searching for other work. Unfortunately, there is nothing in the area. I mean, why should I stick around when I am basically being told that the work I do is worth less than the work of other people? But until I find that new job, I am going to have to deal with it, I guess. It sucks, but that's the way of it.
Friday was a frustrating day. I had to watch Joey overnight. I scolded him because of his disobedience. He was once again getting into things he wasn't supposed to. I didn't let it slide this time. He has been told quite a few times to leave things alone, and I had enough. I told him that I was telling Carma. He didn't speak to me the rest of the night. And when she came home, I told her. She got on him for what he did. It seems that he was opening gifts Carma had bought for other people for Christmas. She said that if he doesn't stop, then Santa wouldn't bring him any gifts. And that's when he started crying. It wasn't long after that that she gave him $20. It was in part given to him because of his recent perfect score on a spelling test, and in part to shut him up of his crying.
I was very busy on Saturday. I went to Peebles to mow the office yard one final time this year. I also was going to meet my sister at the pawn shop for the PS3. But then on my way there, my sister sent me a message saying that she would not be there. After I had gone all that way, just to be told that we have to reschedule. So now we are going on Monday.
Then during the afternoon and evening, I worked with Larry. It was hard work. But I was paid well for my time. After I got back to the house, I washed the dirt off, and went to bed.
And now I am sitting here, writing this entry while the TV is airing a rerun of The Golden Girls. I don't really care what's showing, I just need some kind of noise right now. So, I guess I will end for now. I will see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
