The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Today I had a nice quiet time at home. Until the phone would ring, or someone would pull in the driveway, or the neighbor's dogs would bark. Other than being a secretary today, I had no real plans. If my brother would just tell people where he is going to be to the people who always call or always show up, I wouldn't have to constantly go outside or answer the house phone and tell these people that he isn't home. And it's not they can figure it out by driving by the house or calling his cell phone. Oh well.

I watched another Studio Ghibli film today. I saw Tales from Earthsea. It was a really good movie. Of all the Ghibli films I have seen, I think this one would make a nice video game. Throughout the movie I would think that this scene would make a good boss fight in a game, or the journey from this place to that place would be a fine spot for an area to level grind.

I played Fallout 3 today. I completed the Alien Abduction DLC, and started on The Pitt. I was nearby The Pitt's starting location, so I might as well. I earn a few trophies for the game, now at 24% of the total. I am almost to Level 14 with good karma. Other than that, not much has gone on in the story. I have already completed two DLC stories, but neglected the main story. It will get done.

There's just four more days until I start my next attempt at winning King of the Web. It's starting to look like my result will be nearly the same no matter which category I choose to enter. If only I had more data! I should just let things go as they will, and not care about what happens two weeks from now; but I can't help but analyze the election the way I do. I love collecting the data and predicting what's going to happen. Then, I am able to go in and work my magic to get the results I want. Change the predictions to suit my desires.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will as easy as the Member Elimination Contest. These are hundreds of people I have had no contact with. I have to rely on what I can do in my little circle rather than manipulate everyone. That's why I have been saving up all these Earned Votes. It is one of the ways I can influence the other voters. Get a big lead off the other people running, and steal the lazies' votes.

If the prizes went to more than just the Top 3 people, I wouldn't be so bent on winning. I just don't want to have done all this work and end up with nothing to show for it other than a place in my TFF signature of my performance.

Enough of that for now. Tomorrow I will vent on it some more.

Tomorrow I am working at the office. I am going to get a ride from my brother to Peebles in the morning, because he has to stop off at the bank and the parts store. And it means that my I will save my bike from ten miles of riding. Tomorrow I am also going to ask my higher-ups about when I will get to start working in the office more. With the graduation project and the Sideline Pizza menu under my belt, I feel I have improved my quality of work substantially. Normally, I wouldn't stick my neck out like that, but I'm starting to think that's not going to happen.
