I found one...!

I completely forgot that today was Columbus Day. I had my hopes up for getting my new PS3, but I can't get it today. First, the bank will be closed today, which means I can't cash my check to get the rest of the money needed to buy it. Second, the pawn shop will be closed, which means I couldn't get it today if I wanted to. So here's the new plan. On Thursday after my route, I will hang around in town to cash my checks (I will have two to cash/deposit then). Then I will meet my sister and her boyfriend at the pawn shop. They will get me the best deal possible for the console. Then we'll wrap it up all nice and cozy to protect it from the rain, and I will take it back to the house. And then my world will be balanced once again, and I will be free to save the hundreds of other worlds there are in the small blue toy box I have in my room.
But until then, I am making do with what I have. At the moment, I am going through the collection to see what will play, and what won't. I have also been playing Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, with my current location being Agrabah. I hate Agrabah. It is just not fun for me. In each of the games I have played with this world in it, I have always stopped playing the game when I reach it. I have to suffer through it, though. If I can finish it, then I never have to go there again. So I will do my best to finish.
It is the second break in the season for the Trophy Hunters League. After six matches, I am still in last place. The condition of my PS3 has destroyed any chance I have of winning the Gold League. If I win these last three matches, I could possibly escape demotion. But the chances of winning all three matches is low. Match 7 starts today, and ends on Thursday. The only way I can think of winning this match would be to keep quiet about my future console and give my opponent the sense that I am still without a way to compete. When I get the console hooked up, I can't update my trophy profile until right before the match ends. If I am lucky, I will pull out a win. It would be the first win I have all season. All I have told the competition right now is that if I don't have a working console by the end of the season, I would leave the competition. I can only hope that this plan works, and I finally put a win on my record. I wouldn't want to be one of the people who ends the season with a 0-9 record.
Let's see, what else is there to mention? It is raining today. I woke up to it, and have been up ever since. Assassin's Creed II seems to be working right now, so I am playing that. Maybe I can get to a good point in the game and simply transfer the save to the new console when I get it. Today's plan will be to just see what happens. It is raining, so I don't think I will be called by Larry to work. I never know, though. And I think that's it. So, I guess I will see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
