Where I rant about sleeping in...

I am going to try and make this entry short. I am getting the chance to sleep in until 6:30am tomorrow morning, and I wouldn't mind spending that entire time sleeping. Anyway, I may have to so I get used to sleeping in on Wednesday nights. If I am still here when school lets out, and Joey has nowhere else he can be on Wednesday nights, I will have to stay here while his Grandma is working. Which means no leaving at 3am on Thursdays. As much as I like getting finished early so I can spend the day playing, I wouldn't mind changing it up. Now, when I am forced to change my preferred schedule because of something like the current situation, I don't like it. I don't like being treated as a criminal for something I did not do. I was done and gone when the papers were left on the porch. I can't be hanging around the office to make sure the other carriers get their papers. That's not my job. And now I can't work in peace and quiet and safety (yes, it is surprisingly safer for me to deliver papers in the early morning darkness) because some idiot clearly does not want to do probably the easiest job in the world. If anything, they should be glad that they get to drive around in a car and get paid for it. I'm not complaining about my job situation, but when there's people who are choosing to not do something as simple as walk in a store and leave newspapers so people can see them, I get quite agitated.
It's probably just me being stuck in the old ways. I do miss those days. Really, I do. The newspaper seemed so much more lively than it does now. Now, the life has been sucked out of it. I don't even read the paper, and that's saying something. I did take a look at this week's paper, because it struck me as odd on the size of file compared to the size of the paper. It has some horrible planning. The center spread is filled with small ads instead of the full-page ads. Instead, there are two full-page ads that will not be shown where they should. It's probably for the best, because they look as if they were pieced together at the last minute. There are chunks of blank space from poor space management. It's downright ugly. Oh well.
Anyway, I will leave tomorrow morning at 7am-ish. Since I can't start delivering until 9am, I figured I'd take a look at the lawnmower and see what it needs to work. It hasn't been used in a couple years, so it's possibly not working at all now. After that, I will deliver as fast as possible, and then head back. I told Carma that I may not be done before 3pm, and that she may have to get Joey off the school bus. But I still want to try and get done before that, because I want to make things for Carma as easy as possible.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
