The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

I have been taking it easy in this second match of the League. I hold a 10-point lead over ShogunCroCop, with a score of 17-7. I will still earn trophies, despite my opponent not actively competing this time around. You see, in the event of a tie, the winner of the season is chosen by the total amount of points earned throughout the season. In the rare case that even the total score is a tie, the total score difference made from each of the players matches will determine the winner. And in the even rarer case that the score difference is a tie, the winner of the season is the person who won the match during the season. So, if cybershark91 and I have the same everything, I would win the Bronze League championship because I defeated cybershark91 during our match.

The reason why I will continue to earn trophies during this match is because of the score difference amount. This is a great opportunity to score big in that regard, and also hinder ShogunCroCop in his score difference amount. Anyway, I should keep you updated in the standings.

My goal for the season is to stay in the Top 3 in the Bronze League, and be promoted to the Silver League for Season 4. Winning isn't really something I am concerned with, because I don't want to win. If I win, then I compete against the Silver, Gold, and Platinum winners in a mad rush for trophies. I don't stand a chance against them. At least, I don't think I stand a chance against them. I guess all I can do is wait and find out the final results. But I wonder, if I win, could I defer my place in the Cup Winners League to someone else? Like, if I know I wouldn't be able to compete for some reason, like work, or I run out of games to play? I don't know.

Moving on...

Work was wet on Thursday. It rained a lot. I was soaked through when I arrived at the office. That was kind of my fault though. I had my jacket wrapped around my waist, because at the time it wasn't raining. And when it started raining, I was so close to the office that it would have just been a waste of time to stop, get off the bike, put my jacket on, then get back on the bike, and finish the ride. So when I got to the office, I had to take off my shirt and wring out the water. Then I delivered the papers wearing the jacket. I wasn't going to be working shirtless. After all, I am a public figure, kind of. I wouldn't want to give people any more skin to ogle at.

On Friday, I delivered in Sinking Spring, and then mowed in Peebles. My brother stopped me in town and talked to me for a few minutes. Mom sent me a message the day before about how he was tired of floozy's rules, and was looking for a new place to live. I told both Mom and my brother that I would look around in town for places, and keep an eye on the ads in the paper. And you never know, this could be the way for us to bring our family back together again. Along with Macie, since my brother is still caring for her. Well, minus Dad (because he's the reason we're apart) and my sister (since she lives with Vince).

The plan today is to help Carma move furniture around and put in the new furniture. Then she said in a text message that we're painting the cabinets today as well. And if she gets gas for the mower, I will probably mow the yard today as well. Larry Joe asked me to help him, but since I don't know when Carma is planning on doing all this work, I wasn't able to help him. I could have used the money, too. Still, I don't know when the furniture will be here or anything. Until then, I guess I will wait here and maybe play a video game or something. Since the lead on ShogunCroCop is 10 points, I will probably work on earning trophies for Skyrim or something. I would work on reaching the Platinum for Murdered: Soul Suspect. but that digital strategy Map is so messed up. I feel even more lost than if I didn't have it at all. The markers for the collectables are in the wrong place. There aren't any labels of the major landmarks, and since the game itself doesn't have a map, there is nothing for me to reference in the hope of finding anything. I have just been bumbling around finding the artifacts and marking them down on the map when I find their map locations.
