It should never be -10 degrees, and yet it will be tonight.

Today is my Mother's birthday! She is an age that if I were to publish I would probably not live long enough to see my next birthday, so we'll just go with one year older than she was last year. We had steak for dinner, with baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and peas. And instead of a cake, we had birthday cookies. I tried to make Mom have a relaxing day with no chores, but she would sneak off and do things before I would get a chance to do it for her. She brought in firewood by herself, despite me saying that it was too slippery and cold. My sister found the time in her busy schedule to call Mom and wish her a happy birthday. I haven't asked her herself, but I think Mom did have a nice birthday. It was the first one she's spent back at home since her prison term, after all.
I can't believe a week has already gone by. It really feels like it's only been a couple of days.
Mom asked for my key to the garage. I don't know why. However, I couldn't find my keys at all. I looked all over the house. Then this evening it hit me, I left them at the office on Thursday. I sent a message to Iris and asked her, and she confirmed that they were there. I really need to stop leaving them everywhere. This is the fourth time in the last few months that it has happened. When my brother came home, I asked him to pick them up tomorrow. He said that he would try and remember.
I worked on both Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 today. I am going about the Crystarium in a different way than I did last time (for XIII-2). I am doing a full lap for each job class. Noel has done one lap as a Commando, and one lap as a Sentinel. Serah has done one as a Sentinel, and one as a Ravager. This plan will probably change one I have finished one lap for each role.
I guess the big news of the day is that I cut my hair. Mom said I needed it, and I said okay. I shouldn't have, because it is much shorter than I wanted. I told Mom where to cut it, but she went a little over the top. If my hair wasn't so wavy it would look better. Oh well, though; it will grow back. And it's still a no on the blue hair dye. Mom confiscated the box, and I am out of luck at the moment. It will take some convincing.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
