Well, as I'm typing this, I'm sporting a few new wounds. Earlier this afternoon, Joey and I were playing outside. All of a sudden we see Stri-P-Grr run toward one of the barns at high speed, followed by Jackson. I chase after them. Jackson cornered the kitty into the abandoned chicken coop. While he wasn't looking, I grabbed Stri-P and walked out. She didn't like that much because she was still scared half to death. She bit both of my hands. However, I managed to keep hold of her and get her back to the barn she sleeps in. Then I ran to the bathroom to clean up, because blood was flowing out of my hands. A few minutes, and three band-aids later, I was all better.

Some time later I checked up on the cats. Stri-P-Grr seemed fine. She won't be adventuring as much when Jackson is outside. But I now have a swollen finger and a sore hand. I'm telling you, if a random person were to take a look at my hands and arms, they'd probably think I was a cutter, what with all of the cuts and bruises I have on my hands and wrists. Oh well, I will gladly wear them, because I didn't want Stri-P to be scared anymore. It's already bad enough that she is in a new environment without her Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle to protect her. She just has her brothers.

Carma says that when we get Flea and lowercase fixed they can start being in the house. After today's little episode with Jackson, I am not sure I like the idea of my babies in an enclosed space with that dog. Carma likes black cats (even though my two aren't "black") and she instantly fell in love with them. lowercase really took a liking to her, choosing to sit on her lap all curled up. Brutus and Cleo didn't take to them much, though. But anyway, I guess it would be nice to secure a warmed environment should we still be here this winter.

Joey really got on my nerves today. And all because of video games. He would ask me to help him get through obstacles in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, and then jump on my back, or go behind me and grab my face and cover my mouth and nose. Or try jerking the controller out of my hands. It's like he came home from watching wrestling, and not from the pinewood derby at the Boy Scouts. Thankfully, the controller needed charged up, and I used that as an excuse to turn it off.

The guy that was supposed to be here to fix the lights never showed up today. So now we will be setting up Joey's bed as well as working on the lights tomorrow. And that's about it for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael

I have tons of scratches and claw marks up my arms, so I know how you feel haha. Cat bites can be much worse though, you can get some bad brusies if they know how to chomp down.

That reminds me of when I was carring my gf's cat inside one time and something freaked her out (there are lots of strays around) and she dug in and clawed her way out my arms, up my font and over my shoulder. I was covered in blood and had these holes in my shirt, five minutes later she brushes against my leg and is all "hey there, feed me"
