Puppies, Monkeys, and Kittens! Oh my!

I managed to fall asleep at 3am this morning. I wanted to finish watching A-channel, and before I knew it it was 3am. I think I will continue watching Kaiji (I got the name right this time). Yeah, it's just a really long game of Rock, Paper, Scissors; but at least it isn't 75 episodes of a kid playing Go. However, I like the Go show better. Maybe I will just find something else to watch entirely.
The animals are fine. They are getting used to people, so it's only a matter of time before I will be forced to part with them. I have resorted to calling the striped kitten "Stripey Grrr", because she is striped, and a female kitten. It fits, so it will work for now.
I completed the video game version of the movie Curious George today. It made me think of when I would read the Curious George books as a little kid. I remember that back in 2nd Grade when we first came to Ohio, instead of a class pet, we had a Curious George plush toy. Each weekend one of us would take the toy home with instructions on how to care for him the whole weekend. He came with a small backpack with a foam banana (so he wouldn't get hungry), a yellow hat (naturally), and a Curious George book that you had to read to him. The first weekend that I was a student in Ohio I got to take him home with me. Being the new kid at that age had some perks. I remember reading to him and everything. If I look through Mom's photo albums I will probably find a picture of me reading to him.
And then I thought of what I would love to see a movie of. I want to see them make a film version of Spot. For those that don't know, Spot is a puppy. I would watch the short Spot cartoons that would play between Sesame Street and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood each day before I went to kindergarten (I was a PM kindergarten student). As I type this, the Spot theme song is playing in my head. Here's what he looks like.
This dog was my second favorite dog growing up. The first was our German Shepherd named Jacob. Oh, the memories of the good shows.
The rest of the day was alright. My brother was working on some roof, and I had the day pretty much to myself. Dad came by. He asked me what I was doing. I was sitting on my floor in front of the computer watching YouTube videos. My desk chair is so uncomfortable that I spend more time sitting on the floor at my desk than in the chair at my desk. I told him, "Watching YouTube videos." He then left my room and went back outside.
I found a copy of Dark Cloud 2 really cheap this evening, so I went ahead and bought it. I will have to turk a bit more this month to make up for it. I haven't been working as hard at turking these past couple of days. I wanted to make some progress in the Challenge that I neglected earning the extra cash. I made up for it today by working on some stuff. I still have more than 30 tasks that I haven't been paid for, so I will have them as extra later. But I cut myself off. I am NOT going to buy any more games. Until Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Grand Theft Auto V come out and are cheap enough to purchase.
I looked at the pre-order price for GTA V, and I was floored by the price. I have never ever spent half that for a game before (maybe once or twice). And really, what's so special about the pre-order bonuses that would make people want to buy it. I would much rather just wait for the price to drop some. Yeah, I will be at a disadvantage when it comes to the multiplayer, but I can make up for it. It will give me something to work toward. There's no fun in it if I am on top at the very beginning anyway.
That gives me an idea. I think I will play GTA IV multiplayer after I post this. If anyone is interested in playing with me, my PSN ID is me3lingual. I usually stick with Deathmatch, but sometimes I go for races. I will make you work for a win in Deathmatch, but I am horrible at racing. Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums or online, and until then...
Later!
Michael
