A not-so fun shopping trip

Today I went shopping with Carma and Joey. Actually, they went shopping. I didn't buy a single thing. I carried bags and made sure Joey didn't break anything. I pushed carts. I considered buying Hitman: Absolution, but I didn't buy it in the end. I should probably start at the beginning.

First, we went to Frisch's, where I ate overpriced food that tasted as if my sister was the one who made it. There's a reason I haven't been to Frisch's in more than 15 years. I don't like the food. After that, we went to Town and Country, when Carma spent nearly $150 on boots for Joey. I carried the boxes. Then we went to Lowe's, where I pushed the cart and stopped Joey from turning on all the lights on the wall.

I thought I would find sanctuary at GameStop. But despite getting some time to myself, I found nothing I wanted. Not at the prices they listed, that is. And the clerks at the register...well, they were more interested in their hair and the guys that came in after us. But in the end, Carma bought a hunting game for Joey's Wii U. Joey hasn't gotten used to the controls yet. I think he's too young to play it, but I help him anyway. And then at Wal-Mart, Joey and I went to look at games and a cord for Carma's tablet. That's where I saw the Hitman game. The store didn't have a big variety of games to choose from. And then Joey got tired of walking, so we sat down at the benches.

I think I have mentioned this, but I get carsick easily. And I was using everything in me to, well, keep everything in me (ha ha, I made myself laugh on that one). I was so relieved when we got back, because I could finally stop feeling ill.

And that was pretty much the main part of my day. We ate tacos for dinner. I played Skyrim this morning, but stopped when Joey came in my room. He was wanting to play, but I told myself that I wasn't going to let him after his tantrum the day before. And iif that also meant that I wasn't going to play either, I was fine with that decision. In the end, I was so tired that I fell asleep before everyone else, and that's why I am typing this at 6:03am on Monday morning.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
