The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

This morning I rode to Sinking Spring to deliver. When I arrived at the Post Office, I noticed that the gas station was open again. They rebuilt it, and it had been closed for a while. Anyway, I went in and dropped some papers off there. When I got back home, I saw that Dad was there. He was splitting firewood. I went in and rested from my bike ride.

A few minutes later, Dad comes in and says, "You know, if you are bored you can come out there and help me." So, with sweat on my face and the lines my helmet makes on my head still showing, I walk in to where Dad was and said that I had just got back home after doing my job. Then I walked back in my room. I guess Dad only came in to complain, because he left shortly after that.

I had the house to myself today. I didn't even bother getting my bedroll out to sleep on it today. I grabbed a pillow and slept on the floor. It felt cool, and the house was just so hot. My brother was home for a few minutes this morning and this evening. This morning to change his clothes and grab a cup of coffee, and this evening to eat a microwave burrito. Other than that, it's just been Luca, the cats, and me.

I finished that picture for the RP I am in. And I have also made two posts in it. Maybe one day I will get a PSP and buy the game the RP is based on. I mean, the show based on the game is great. So the actual show should be ever better, right?

I pulled out my Monopoly Deal! and Scrabble Slam cards today. I am kind of regretting buying them. I haven't played Slam in months, and Deal! has only been played between my stuffed animals and myself. This is why I like video games. I don't need other people to play them. I love board games too, and I want to get a whole lot more of them. But it isn't something I could justify doing if I am going to be the only one playing them. I really want to get a lot of the games featured in Geek and Sundry's TableTop show, like Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Castle Panic, Shadows of Camelot...well, pretty much every game featured on the show (except the Star Trek/Wars ones). But again, if there's no one to play with, then they will just collect dust. I have enough things collecting dust as it is.

But still, now that my credit card received another increase in limit, I still want to buy them. Oh, if only there were people around here that did stuff other than hunt of do drugs as their main forms of recreation. Alas, I am alone in the world. At least until one of the drug dealers gets put in prison and someone moves in their home. Maybe then I will find someone to play with.
