The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Power outage...

Rate this Entry
A big storm came last night, and knocked out the power here. When the power was restored, I wasn't able to get the wi-fi signal back up. So I couldn't update last night. And because of the storm, I couldn't sleep. So I had nothing to do. I did manage three hours of sleep though. Anyway, Wednesday was a normal day filled with normal Michael activities.

Thursday was fine as well. Mom came and helped me fold the newspapers, even though she didn't have to. I wasn't wanting her to wake up at 4am to help me, but she insisted I message her when I arrived. She gave me a box of girl scout cookies...that I ended up eating as soon as I got back home. The route itself was nice. The storm had gone through and it was sunny with a breeze during my ride. I also mowed the yard at the office. So my check next week will have $15 more than normal.

On the way home, I was stopped by my aunt at Grandma's house. She came running out the front door of the house as I was riding by. She called out and said, "What, you can stop in and say hello to your family?" I slowed down, said hello, and kept pedaling. She seemed puzzled at my response. I wasn't going to stop in. First off, Dad was there. Secondly, I didn't know who else may have been there. Besides, I wanted to get home. I kept pedaling and even managed to get up the big hill that I have been having to walk up because I didn't have the strength to pedal up the whole thing.

After getting home, I slept until Joey came home from school. Then when everyone left and I was here by myself, I caught up on everything I missed during the storm and while I was working. I still haven't received my copy of Drakengard 3, despite it saying it was going to be here on Wednesday. Other than that, not much is going on. I am delivering in Sinking Spring tomorrow. And I am watching Joey tomorrow night.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
