My brother was put in his place today by Dad. It was so good that I thought I was dreaming, because I woke up from a nap to Dad telling him off. So, my brother had one of his "girlfriends" here today (apparently he's not happy with only one baby mama, both have a few kids), and he gets it into his head that they will take a ride on Dad's motorcycle. I guess someone saw them, and told Dad (it wasn't me, I was too sleepy to care). Then Dad comes here and sees that it is true and the motorcycle is not here. While he's out searching for it, my brother comes back. And when Dad returns, he is fuming. He took the keys and said that he doesn't want to lose the motorcycle, since he's already lost a truck to my brother's driving skills. And after that, Dad left.
A little while later, my brother leaves with the girl. I don't know who it was, because I don't care. All I know is that it's someone who makes my brother seem unable to think, because he's making a ton of bad choices. Oh well. My brother hasn't been back since, and I am not sure I expect to see him home tonight. If he does come home, he better be by himself. Or else my money will not be paying for his portion of the bills!
Now, I really don't see why Dad got so bent out of shape about it. After all, he does the same thing with Floozy when it comes to the motorcycle. And really, Dad can't really be judging D for his choices, since the two of them are making the same ones. My life is full of time-defying mirrors. My brother is a younger version of Dad, the kittens are younger versions of the adult cats. Anyway, if Dad wants to have the authority to try and dictate his mirror's life, maybe he should change what my brother sees. He can't expect my brother to choose better if he himself is living a life in the sewer. I wish I could say that my brother was taught better, but I can't. The only same teachers we had in our lives were our older family members, and you can clearly tell a difference. Maybe my teachers at school were better. I don't know. I guess you need unrelated teachers. My brother and sister were related to quite a few of theirs. I was only related to two of mine.
Moving on...
Today is the end of Month 2 of my 6-month gaming challenge over on my gaming blog. In today's entry, I review my progress for the month and set goals for myself in the coming month. Be sure to check it out when you get the time.
Tomorrow is probably going to start with a downpour of rain. Omega has already gotten comfortable in the house in preparation for it. I don't know where U is right now. He was on the roof early this evening. It's not like him to be on the roof. My brother this morning said that he was in the garage when he unlocked it this morning. He said that he got in because of a hole in the wall. I will check it out after I post this. I don't want him to be stuck in the garage if it storms again. The rain pounding on the garage roof will not be pleasant for him.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
