I wish I had a Bonus Board in real life.

I was excited to receive that pre-ordered copy of Thief today. When I saw the mail carrier drive up to the mailbox, I was nearly squealing with joy over it being in the mailbox. I ran up the hill and nearly fell on the snowy ground because of my haste to start playing it. And then I get to mailbox, and it's not in there. So I ran, back down the hill, because I was cold from not wearing a jacket to check the mail.
A little bit later, the FedEx driver stops at the part of our driveway that leads out onto Edwin Shoemaker Road, as if he was going to come to the house. But he doesn't. He drove on by, and also didn't stop when he came back through either.
And the UPS driver didn't even go down the road today.
So where exactly is the game that I was supposed to receive today? How can I review a game if the game isn't even here? As for it's location, I don't know. So now I am just waiting. I'm good at that. I wait all the time.
Today, instead of playing Thief, I started a save file for Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Mainly because I wanted to play the games in chronological order. I mean, there are three hundred years between The Last Hope and First Departure, I think. Anyway, I reached the first boss fight. I am really liking the game so far. Especially the bonus board. I had it built up enough to give me 30% extra EXP, 10% HP/MP restore, 80% more Fol, and 2 SP earned each battle. But the boss battle hit me and broke it to pieces. I finished the battle with only 10% more Fol. I think the only thing I am not liking is the lack of Save Points. There should be more of them. Like, one in every area. Maybe two. That's why I am writing this as late as it is getting. I couldn't find a save point to stop.
Anyway...
I hope Thief arrives tomorrow. If it doesn't, I can always play something else. Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...
Later!
Michael
