The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

My brother and I were talking about how Mom is probably counting down the minutes until she gets to come home. I know I am counting down the hours. 29 hours!

Today was a super cold and snowy day. My brother started the day out by shoveling the snow off of the porch. That was nice, because it allowed the cats to venture outside of the house for more than just using the bathroom. Not that they did much today other than stay in the cat house where it was warm. In fact, I think I was in the snow more than the cats today. And that was because the phone would ring, and I would have to run the phone out to the garage where my brother was.

Tomorrow my brother and I will be working and getting everything ready for Mom's return. My brother will be focusing on cleaning her bathroom, because he uses the shower in there a lot. I will work on stuff in the kitchen. And then tomorrow night we will vacuum/mop the floors. My sister will be here, so she can help. She probably won't though.

I ate jumbo shrimp today. And I didn't like it. It felt funny in my mouth. It felt like what I thought eating brains would taste like. Or worms. Or something slippery and slimy. The taste was fine, but the texture was what I didn't like about it. I had some potato wedges as well, so I used those to chase the shrimp down.
