The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

Time for my second laptop entry. I spent the majority of the day with the laptop on. It is much more convenient when I need to look up something. Like where the third pigeon is when I am looking for them Ni No Kuni. And it allows me to not have to walk across my bedroom to see when I get a message on Skype while I am playing. All in all, it seems like a good purchase, and I am glad that I bought it.

Speaking of Ni No Kuni, I am now farther in the game than I have ever been. I met Swaine, and even managed to get on the boat to the next area. I am putting the laptop to use, because I couldn't tell what familiar types were best for each party member. With the laptop, I found out easily, and I didn't have to use the desktop to do it.

And it makes writing these blog entries much more enjoyable as well. Before, I'd be complaining that it was cold, but now I am sitting comfortably near the fire. Not too close, of course; I don't want the thing to catch on fire.

Anyway, today I rode to Sinking Spring while Dad and my brother went to take a trailer of scrap in. Then, my brother used the money that he got from the scrapyard to pay a portion of the electric bill. He still owes me nearly $100, what with the new phone bill having arrived yesterday. But at least we are almost caught up on everything. It will still be much better when I get my check on Monday.

The dryer didn't seem to want to dry my laundry today. It was like it was spinning the clothes without actually warming them up. My brother thinks that it's simply because it's an old dryer. It's outlasted three washers. Maybe the temperature thing is starting to give out or something.

I messaged my sister and told her what Mom wanted me to tell her. She told me that she would definitely be there to bring Mom home on the 20th.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to see you around the forums, and until then...

Later!

Michael
