The Michael Swayne Story V: King of his Castle

the lights of a cell phone tower. I think it's the one from the cemetery that I pass every week on my route, judging by the distance it is from here. But it's weird, because I could never see it see it my old house. Of course, I am on the "second floor" here. Technically, it's the first floor. You see, this house was built on a hill, and the bottom floor was cut into it. Then the floor my room is on is very high up off the ground, but the floor I am on also leads out onto the porch which is only inches from the ground. And of course, there's the second floor, which has an emergency staircase in the event of fire.

Anyway...

The wind is really blowing here. It acts as if it is going to rain or something. I have my window open, yet I am getting no wind in here. This window faces the same direction mine did at the house, but my window is really protected from the wind it seems.

Today I play Super Mario Bros. U. I managed to get Joey's file to the fifth area. When we started playing, Joey wouldn't let me have a turn. And then when he got too frustrated, he turn it off. He said,"Let's go," and I told him no. When I told him I'm not going, he asked why. I told him that I wanted to have a turn. So I finally got to play, and I managed to finished the ice area and the water area.

I also played Final Fantasy X HD today, and managed to win the Belgemine fight and advance to the next save point. Yay! I had been working on the fight for days. And it seems that Drakengard 2 will arrive before Drakengard, at least according to the updates from amazon and eBay. I don't mind, because I tend to play games out of order. And Nier hasn't even been marked as shipped yet. And that was the one I really wanted to play. Oh well, I can wait. Actually, it looks like I may get both Drakengard and Drakengard 2 today in the mail (I am writing this at 6am Monday). I just checked the tracking again, and it seems the two games have left Columbus for Peebles.

Carma and Joey went to Hillsboro today. I was invited, but I didn't want to go. I said that I wanted them to have their special time without me. But the real reason is because I didn't want to get carsick. And I certainly don't want to go shopping, where I buy nothing and get stuck with carrying the bags and boxes. Instead, I stayed here and wrote an article for EnixOrigin on Square Enix at PAX East 2014.

I wish the Wi-Fi signal was stronger here in my room. Then, I could perform the updates to the games I want to play (Lightning Returns). I know I can play them without doing the update, but I can't download and install the garbs I have either. It's no big deal, really. I should go and finish the games I have files for right now. Like Thief. I am at Chapter 3 now. I am still in 5th Place in Chain & Gain Limited for Moira Asylum, and 8th Place in Chain & Gain for Moira Asylum. If I play it today, I will try to beat my scores.
